Nintendo's not selling their games on other platforms yet but they're selling PC games on their platform. At this point Sony are multiplatform as well as Microsoft. Only Nintendo holding out.
The fact that Switch games are basically PC games will weigh on Nintendo until they do like Sony and triple their profits by selling out their IP and cannibalizing their platform.
Every modern video game console is a PC. It's only a matter of time before every modern video game is playable on PC.
The only path out of this for PS and Nintendo is reissuing their respective proprietary HW and making new games that don't run on PC.
The biggest problem with PC games is the expense (time/money) and both PS and Nintendo own multiple platforms with faster/cheaper game development.
E.g., Nintendo can save Nintendo by adding a $10 SNES CPU to a Switch dock and reopening SNES as a platform.
SNES games being faster/cheaper to make than x86 games means studios will make SNES games.
