Tempted to get this, but my PS5 PRO is arriving and now I'm in the dilemna of figuring out which version is the best on Xbox Series X or PS5 Pro.

Digital Foundry is likely slammed for all the PS5 Pro videos they're making but I really need to see a comparison between the PS5 and Xbox Series X to determine which one is worth getting.

Kojima now fully owns the IP. I suspect they regained the IP as part of the deal for PHYSINT which we know is being co-developed with Sony, they probably see more value in a trans media Metal Gear successor (And I totally agree)

It probably involves a DS2 timed exclusive time for Playstation which honestly sucks for every other platform.

As inflammatory as this may sound, this is most definitely not a release/title for the usual MS/Xbox crowd mate - I can already see the 1-star reviews on the Xbox store with gems like "LOL what is this ?"/"LOL NOT EVEN A REAL GAME"/"HAHA KOJIMA IS A HACK"/"WALKING SIM LOOOL".
This was already a divisive game on the PS ffs, imagine it being on Xbox where most of the users' attention span has dropped to that of a hamster due to Game pass and the need/dopamine rush for the the "new game of the week" only to played for 15 minutes max as to go to the next, even newer/shinier title.

Hope Xbox gamers will buy the game as it's great. Xbox gamers if you want more multiplatform releases on your console then show the devs it's worth the time/effort to releases on the console by opening your wallets and giving them your money don't wait for them to be put up on Game pass just go and buy the games.

Fuck yes, this is amazing news to wake up to and truly out of nowhere. Death Standing was far and away the most enviable exclusives the PS4 had and a bright spot of last generation. I've already got my completed copy on PS4 but I will definitely be double dipping to show support for this. Especially since it's the directors cut this time.

Get the game for the platform that is your primary. If that's Xbox, then get it there. If the best version factor is that important, is DS a Pro enhanced game?
