Also, you need to factor in that these game decisions that companies like Insomniac Games had made were made at the end of the 2010s and the beginning two years of 2020s when Wokeness was secretly at its peak at game companies in the West. By the time these companies realize (thanks to Kabrutus) that Wokeness is NOT the future for gaming, it was far too late to make changes, otherwise, it would just cost more money than they already poured into reverse course.

Yeah, that's true. I was pretty surprised when I came across it on Kabrutus's website. I'm shocked, as there weren't hints of it in the main story. All the women still look gorgeous as in Remake and hardly any character shows signs of deviating from their personality in Remake.

Though Square Enix has a DEI department, the impact of SBI is not the same in every game. Studios not aligned with their ideology (mainly Asians) will just mention them in the credits. They can't mess up as much as in GOW or Spiderman 2.

I haven't heard about Hit Detection in a long time but a lot of people will be familiar with Jeff Green from 1UP/CGW/GFW fame and who consulted (or still does) for the firm and how I'm assuming a lot of us were introduced to the firm the first place. The idea was to take experienced media professionals and give them access to builds of a game throughout the development process and evaluate how that game would be received critically which would then let studios course correct or polish a game in the hopes of making a better game that would be received better critically and hopefully commercially. My knowledge of the company comes long before the current culture war so I'm not sure what their involvement in projects is these days.
