Banned for using photo mode psn

Sorry to hear this OP. I hope someone will go to their senses at Sony.

Though I'm a bit glad that I think didn't have this option enabled when I found out that particular dress on female V from Cyberpunk allows you to see her vagina clipping through. Really low poly but it was there :messenger_grinning_squinting::messenger_grinning_sweat:

Then he prints the picture and shows it to family members and friends, and when he's a total social outcast he simply shows it to some random cop on the streets to complete his Grand Slam.

Always absurd no matter who does it. If the content comes from a game they sell on the store why on earth could you not take a screenshot? They should flag these things and make them viewable only the user, shadow banning the individual pictures/posts from the network.

Sony have the ability to delete anything posted by the user and send them a warning not to post such content in the future. That is what they should be doing.

If they haven't done that then they are at fault here because if the user takes what they consider to be a sexy photo of an attractive female in a game but Sony deem it to be 'explicit' then how is the user supposed to know what is deemed acceptable and what isn't?

But as said previously, I honestly do not understand how this could happen in the first place in a game like this where there is no option to edit or mod the graphics to actually make something that could be considered offensive (such as a nude screenshot).

I don't understood how this could even happen.

If I was you then I would get in touch with Sony and ask them how a game like Stellar Blade allows the player to take pictures that are deemed as 'explicit content' in the first place when it is running on fixed hardware with no ability to tweak or edit the content like you will likely be able to in the forthcoming PC version for example (you can bet that there will be nude mods at least). Sony publish that game and, therefore, approved the use of a Photo mode in a game with a scantily clad and sexualised female character. So what did they expect exactly from the photo mode?

I would also contact Trading Standards and see what they say about this because I think Sony are very much in the wrong here, even if the images were intentionally posed for a smutty screenshot. I mean what is the worse you can do in the game anyway... zoom in on the lead character's breasts/arse/crouch?

At the end of the day, the graphics and game content are the responsibility of the developer who coded and Sony who published the game, and if they allow the user to take screenshots in the game then they are ultimately responsible for the results. This is not a Minecraft or LittleBigPlanet style game where the user can create offensive content so I am curious as to what the 'explicit' content was in the first place here.

Also, I find it hard to believe that Sony would perma-ban a user for a first time offence so has this happened before and you chose to just ignore it?
As u can see on a screen no pryor warnings
I did not get a emails saying I was banned i went to download rise of the ronin on my ps portal and find it permanently banned so I went to log onto phone app same and then ps pro I originally thought oh been on too many consoles at once

Im starting to piece the puzzle together OP.
You have the writing abilities of a 4th grader but you can drop 40k on video games, so you never really went to school but still have unlimited disposable income.
You must be a trust fund baby, why don't you ask your dad to call the Clintons so in a few days every sony customer service employee is found dead after a fake robbery gone wrong or something ?

Edit : more seriously tho wasn't there a story on neogaf a few month ago where some dude had his account banned apparently without reason and we found out that he was doing account sharing or something other illegal thing that was the true reason for the ban ? OP are you account sharing ?

The only way i see there being more to this is if OP received warnings and temporary bans before. Doesn't make it any less stupid that he gets a ban for using a playstation feature (accidentaly) on an unmodified sony-sponsored game.

He wouldn't get banned for the picture he described (and refuses to post.)

I made the switch to digital gaming after a rather unfortunate incident. I'd pre-ordered a highly anticipated GTA game and, to my surprise, it arrived early. I was over the moon! But my excitement was short-lived. My mischievous pup decided to treat the game as a chew toy, leaving it in a state of irreparable damage.
That was the final straw. I've always been a pre-order enthusiast and a loyal PlayStation Plus subscriber. I've taken advantage of numerous sales and even paid for premium services like PlayStation Plus Extra. However, due to my habit of pre-ordering games, I often missed out on free games and other perks.
It's a bit ironic, really. I've paid for games I haven't even played yet, while simultaneously paying for a service that offers free games. I guess you could say I was a bit too eager to jump into the latest releases

If this is genuine - apologies but I obviously have no way of knowing if this is - then why not go to Eurogamer or GameSpot or some other social media site and let them know what happened because this would be exactly the sort of bad publicity that Sony would not be happy about. They may able to get Sony to do something about it. It may be something that needs investigating and could help other people in the future.

Sony should never be allowed to permanently ban any PS5 user for a first time offence because that means that everyone who uses a photo mode in a PS5 game such as Stellar Blade is at risk of having their account banned without any prior warning just because some automated system flagged a screenshot as 'explicit'. Just think about that for a second and how deeply disturbing that concept actually is...

Couple of us have asked about you saying that your games were "mostly paid for" and you have not replied.

That's the thing I did not share em I took shots of steller and the auto uploads on app flagged it and got me banned
I had 1321 games and all mostly paid for

Stay away from. Digital consoles

Looks legit to me. I just went to PS support page.

It redirects you from the dodgy website to PlayStations main website, that account status page has no links to Sonys PlayStation site in it if you inspect the HTML in the background, it's been created off the back of a salesforce database

It might be that i'm in the UK and it's redirecting somewhere else for us, but looking through that website my.support.playstation.com, it's just screaming dodgy to me, if you search for it on google you basically get no results either other than a link to a domain abuse website

The DNS records and IP's for the site come back with some very strange entries as well

the CNAME entry points to a site that contains a potential security issue too

Why is this written totally differently than all your other comments? You know, with grammar and such?

Salesforce sells AI agents for customer support.

In September the company deployed Agent force, its platform of autonomous AI agents for customer service assistance, developing marketing campaigns, and coaching salespersons. It also allows users to build custom AI agents.
Skynet killed OP.

Something about this post doesn't seem organic.

Where did you copy and paste that from?

Ya think? That’s how this always goes. OP claims they did nothing wrong, then it turns out they were stealing or something.

Definitely more to this than simply uploading pics. As others have said, the exorbitant amount of money he is claiming his PSN to be worth is hard to believe. Pull on one thread and it all starts to unravel.

I guess free ps+ games

He could have easily said that the first couple of times he was asked about it though.

I'm quickly losing what little faith I had left that this might be the whole story.

Mods won't ban, given the context at worst they will delete and give a warning.

Either post it and start replying to the questions you've been dodging or people will turn against you

I don't understand? Imagine trying to debate this company banning you from their platform only for you not to post a picture in fear of being banned here.... so it's starting to sound like that ban from Sony was for a justified reason based on what you're saying here especially if you don't want to Post the actual picture here

A lot of this is sounding like it's your fault and not just some fucking innocent thing especially considering you are aware you could be banned here for posting the picture which tells us it's not just some innocent random thing...

If its that bad that you don't wish to post it here, maybe that ban was just..
