so FIFA 14 got released in September 24 and managed to be 5th in USA, EA must be super happy about this.

At this point, I think FIFA is the 4th biggest franchise out there behind GTA, CoD and Battlefield.

Yeah the first game is still pretty fun in its own way, and challenging at times. Reminds me of the good old days of jrpgs.

That's the first thing that came to mind. It's pretty awesome that PS3 finally broke through with GTA but last month the entire thread was "wow terrible." Numbers this month are probably soooo bad.

The 360 did ~169K via Aquamarine's calculations.

The Wii U, based on creamsugar's last month numbers, would be a bit above 93K.

Origins sold like crap too. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody. I'm assuming - like Origins - that this was a game made on a modest budget and even with poor sales will do enough to stay in the black.
