I'm going to run through still wakes the deep finally. And start up fantasian. Then Choo Choo on Monday. My man.
That's what I'm gonna do over the coming weekend before the normal edition release.
Same.I've never watched anything after The Last Crusade.
Even if you want to say day one embargo because of early access release, that’s fine. So I guess that means Baldur’s Gate 3 was a rushed buggy mess at launch. Oh wait, it wasn’t. The logic is still stupid.
Disney.. killing one franchise at a time. The game might be technically sound with good production value cinematics.
But in modern day, how many people care about Indiana Jones? The franchise was at its biggest in the 80s, and its popularity carried over to some console or PC games in the 90s. It's now 2024 and the recent movie is junk.
Don’t waste your time. Even if the reviews came out 5 months ago, it would still be too late for all the whiners.
Same.I've been kinda lukewarm on this but I'm starting to feel the hype as we get closer to release. Just watched through the original trilogy and I'm totally in the mood now.
I've never watched anything after The Last Crusade.
The whole trilogy is on Prime
As well as Crystal Skull
Your loss.I've never watched anything after The Last Crusade.
Even Spielberg and Lucas don’t like Doom. They feel their divorces they went through right before the movie affected it too much.
Nope, a 4090 was the top spec for a number of games which use Path Tracing including Portal RTX, Cyberpunk 2077 with PT mode, Black Myth Wukong, etcAbsolutely wild. First time 4090 is listed in requirements? Ryzen 7 7900 is also hardcore especially at that framerate target. I got both but sheesh this better be the best looking game ever made.
Shit was hands-down my favorite movie growing up in the 80s. It's unhinged and questionable on many fronts but I love it.That's why I love it. It's just so fucking dark and twisted. Another awesome dark middle chapter (even though it takes place pre Raiders) just like Empire.

That movie and Gremlins is why PG-13 was invented.Totally. Probably shouldn't have seen it as a 7-8 year old but hey, it was 1987 and I was a latchkey kid livin large
That movie and Gremlins is why PG-13 was invented.
Flamingo Kid was the first movie rated PG-13. Red Dawn was just released before it.And Red Dawn. That was the first one.
Gremlins was actually PG which is crazy
Flamingo Kid was the first movie rated PG-13. Red Dawn was just released before it.
Red Dawn was the first movie to receive a PG-13 rating, which was implemented on July 1, 1984. The movie is a World War III fantasy about a group of teenagers fighting against Russian invaders. Some say that the movie was exceptionally violent, which led to the introduction of the PG-13 rating as a designation between PG and R.
Flamingo Kid - Initial release, December 21, 1984
The MPAA rated Flamingo Kid PG-13 before Red Dawn was completed. It didn’t release until after Red Dawn.We really doin this? Autism War!

This is the history of American film ratings from 1930 to 1984 that eventually led us to the PG-13 rating.movieweb.com
What was the first PG-13 movie?
Answer (1 of 11): I always heard it was ‘Gremlins’. Popular when I was a kid. The movie ads put emphesis of the cute ‘Gizmo’ who looks like a teddy bear (or ‘Furbee’ which had not yet been invented). I remember Burger King or somebody had this promotion where you could get an audio cassette and b...www.quora.com
It released in August

The Flamingo Kid holds the distinction of being the first film to receive the new PG-13 rating created by the MPAA in summer 1984. The 3 Jul 1984 LAHExam reported the film received the rating due to profanity. Under previous MPAA rules, profanity meant an automatic R rating, but the new PG-13 rating allowed for limited profanity. Producer Michael Phillips told the paper he thought the rating was appropriate and had no plans to appeal it.
Temple is my favourite even if i know that last crusade is the much better movie. That's why I love it. It's just so fucking dark and twisted. Another awesome dark middle chapter (even though it takes place pre Raiders) just like Empire.
You and I both, brother! And movies with Mr. Haim in them kept me occupied in the 80s!Totally. Probably shouldn't have seen it as a 7-8 year old but hey, it was 1987 and I was a latchkey kid livin large
That's my point, genius. Uncharted got boring a long time ago and this will not be better. If people expect good gameplay from this the cope is real.cause the Uncharted games really reinvented the wheel. Love those games, but they’re about as cookie cutter as adventure games get.
More shite to pick apart. That's my point, genius. Uncharted got boring a long time ago and this will not be better. If people expect good gameplay from this the cope is real.
corporate simping is nais are ya married to adamsbubble ?
Who seriously hears all these arguments from that grifter and says yep, all makes sense? This is brain rot.
Embargo 5th
Early access 6th
Retail release / Game Pass 9th
How is "the latest blow to the game's reception comes from discovering that Xbox is now not allowing any critics to post reviews or share their thoughts about the game until it's available to the general public on December 5th" even computing with the dates above? Retail date is 4 days later motherfucker. When devs make an early access with extra $$$, it's because they plan on day 1 FOMO from critical acclaim. Bunch of fucking clowns. Feed that shit into the SBI thread and for the love of god leave alone the adults talking about the game.

that person is just talking abt tweets and nothing else eeek ^^You're regurgitating grifter videos thinking you figured it out uh? I know dates are hard, when your whole premise starts on the wrong foot, double down uh?
Fit right in with flat earthers and conspiracy nuts. You got your quick group thinking dopamine hit? We can come back to reality? Thanks bye.
Yes, it wasSo I guess that means Baldur’s Gate 3 was a rushed buggy mess at launch. Oh wait, it wasn’t.
So you agree with my initial point that people have played this game a million times already, it will bring nothing new to the table. Ok then.Saying a AAA game isn’t trying anything new is the most pointless argument ever made when it’s just made to be what it is. It never promised some massive innovation in the adventure genre. Who the fuck actually expects that from an Indiana Jones game? No one. Your argument has no merit.
The whole trilogy is on Prime
As well as Crystal Skull
No, I’m saying you could say something similar about 99% of AAA games. No one ever cares because they’ll all appeal to some audience out there. You’re making some blanket statement that everyone who plays this will be automatically bored because they’ve played adventure games already. Even when your example is a different kind of game entirely. The comparison made no sense within the context of what you were trying to say. But okay.So you agree with my initial point that people have played this game a million times already, it will bring nothing new to the table. Ok then.
Huh? I'm pretty sure all the originals from Starbreeze left long agoThe saving grace for this is the fact that Butcher Bay guys are still there and worked on it
.....then you remember whatever the hell the narrative designer is and the concern comes rolling back like that big fucking boulder in Raiders.
Huh? I'm pretty sure all the originals from Starbreeze left long ago
Today's MachineGames is like today's Bioware
Wait, so he left and rejoined recently? And only 2 years ago? Reminds me a bit of how they brought back that one dude to Bioware very late to rescue the Anthem project, in the end he did all he could but Anthem was still a dud
“We knew this was super important challenge from the get-go. Luckily, this is not our first rodeo. Big parts of the team have worked together on story-driven first-person games all the way back to The Chronicles of Riddick and The Darkness. Also, I think the Wolfenstein series surprised the world by having a very interesting and relatable character with B.J. Blazkowicz, so we have had a lot of experience with this.”
Indeed, the first thing most gamers will remember when they hear the name MachineGames will be the last decade of Wolfenstein games. But as Andersson pointed out here, MachineGames’ very inception came about in the fallout of Starbreeze Studios’ 2011 reboot of Syndicate.
No less than Starbreeze founder Magnus Högdahl joined MachineGames, and with him came the team that made The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay and The Darkness video games. Starbreeze would go on to acquire Overkill and become best known for the Payday franchise. While these studios would each forge their own path, Wolfensteinfans know well that it was MachineGames that really inherited the staff with the video game storytelling and character development DNA.
