Yes, all of Elon’s posts are signal boosted by the algo to the top of FYP. I’ve noted this several times before as a major complaint with post-Elon Twitter. When he’s posting 100 times per day you can really notice the effects. Also bullshit on this, this week alone we're seeing an account of one specific person pushed into everyone's feed just because Musk wants to hit that, that's how biased it is, anything Musk does/likes, ends up forced onto everyone. To pretend otherwise is ignorance.
Do you know why Babylon Bee was banned? What they posted to get banned?
There have been multiple accounts pointing out how the numbers and interactions don't add up, the main difference is that Musk is all over her replies. I'm sure you think it's just a coincidence though and really the algorithm just thinks we all need to see Tiffany's comments.
At least you admit it, there's still loads who try and deny Musk has any influence over it. Following us better but those full page Temu ads get annoying, how can an ad tweet be three times the size of normal tweetsYes, all of Elon’s posts are signal boosted by the algo to the top of FYP. You’re ignoring the following page though.
Elon’s posts being specially boosted is officially disclosed as part of Elon Twitter’s open source algorithm. At least you admit it, there's still loads who try and deny Musk has any influence over it. And yet people still deny itElon’s posts being specially boosted is officially disclosed as part of Elon Twitter’s open source algorithm.
Well, would you look at that. One of the people consistently throwing Jk Rowling under the bus for defending women turns out to be a filthy little tax cheat:
These pontificating little shit plugs really do come unstuck, don’t they?
Is Mississippi Jones gay or not? I saw that rimbow shirt narrative director pic.
I live and breathNo, of course not. He is canonically straight. All this over one person's t-shirt is really grasping at straws.
It's the Twitter equivalent of the purple forum.I suppose it's no coincidence that the intials of BlueSky is BS.
Still no relevance ….
JK is a big women and doubt she needs them to defend her honour and when she does it’s normally in a defamation lawsuit she normally wins.
She made it her side hustle to piss of liberals so she should expect smoke. Purity testing other people based on her actions is a it strange
It wont last. These folks will eat each other.Bluesky is a good thing because all the terminal TDS people have self-deported themselves there and won't be shitting up other social networks anymore
Very true. Nobody hates woke more than other woke. It is a purity test that no mere mortal can ever Iive up to.It wont last. These folks will eat each other.
I'm not as sure (or optimistic) as Elon is in that tweet, but I sure hope we're done with this shitty phase of social media or at least people push back strongly against it.
It was such a terrible way to target people, often with lies (exploiting and abusing the "believe women" motto) or under the guise of speaking out on behalf of friends, and tragically there were people led to suicide by the mobs and their agitators.
I often think about Alec Holowka's case here, and how people should have seen through the attack and its obvious purpose given who made the allegations and her awful track record.
Unfortunately it's still going here in the UK.
Just this week we've had an attempt to Gregg Wallace of Masterchef and Inside the Factory fame, for making saucy working-class, middle-aged man jokes that didn’t always hit right. Apparently he made some middle class, middle-aged women feel 'uncomfortable'.
That not cancel culture… that’s an old man being a creepy perv and getting told to fuck off
As long as I can keep my feed curated without manipulation then it shouldn't be an issue, not like Twitter is free from bots, if anything it got worse under Musk despite that being one of his promises.BlueSky has been bragging about the "millions" of new users since the election, but I honestly believe a vast majority of that is bots. The open-source nature of the platform is a nightmare for bots and honestly they're going to be worse there than they've ever been on Twitter or elsewhere.
Sure. They don’t manipulate the Following feed.As long as I can keep my feed curated without manipulation then it shouldn't be an issue, not like Twitter is free from bots, if anything it got worse under Musk despite that being one of his promises.
Mine isn't, as I said multiple times before, it just shows things related to what I've curated. The Discovery feed on BS is pedos, furrys, mental patients, and blatant assassination threats.

Which is weird because I don't get any of that. Is it a country thing? Right now if I glance at mine I've got something about Copenhagen architecture, climate change, CRT findings from the past week, etc. Lot of emulator stuff too. With science, tech, and video games selected as interests, and not following anyone, this is the BlueSky discover feed:

I was just thinking this morning how you’re not going to see handles on news or sporting events. They’re basically URLs and not just a @ like on X.
This post was auto-blocked and hidden on BlueSky. More aggressive than Twitter was at its most extreme levels of control.
They have every right to run their platform this way, of course, but I would not expect it to become a broad-based town hall if they require absolute conformity on highly divisive issues.
And I'd happily return to Twitter once it stops being obviously manipulated in Elon & Pals favour, what Musk stated when he took over Twitter sounded good, but his execution has been trash, it's still biased, just biased in his favour. Once I can go back to my feeds and NOT see any forced political/culture war/Elon stuff then I'd happily use it again.but I would not expect it to become a broad-based town hall
I just signed up yesterday to check it out. The filter to show less of selected content seems to work really well. For example, pet pictures, it seems to recognize those and keep them from showing up.I don’t have a bluesky account but I checked it out for the first time on my phone now.
I get a random mix of stuff…. Some maga are incel posts, Black Friday deals, a post with pic of a fox, another pic of a cat in a store window, something about gladiator 2 and some other people talking movies like Charlie Brown and scary movie.
So a quick skim of maybe 10 or so posts on the home page and only a couple had to do with anti-right wing posts.
I have not said that.can we be adults about this and not accuse anyone who uses BlueSky of being a pedo/a pedo supporter?
No one has said it.I have not said that.
You specifically keep mentioning that BlueSky is pushing pedo and furry shit over and over again, it's starting to feel implied that you want people to associate BlueSky with pedos and thus the users are either pedos or cool with pedos. No one has said it.
The Discovery feed on BS is pedos,
The amount of furrys and pedos polluting the site
the "Discover" tab was nothing but furry streamers posting gay/pedo furry artwork.

Because it’s a problem on the platform a BS even admitted to it:You specifically keep mentioning that BlueSky is pushing pedo and furry shit over and over again, it's starting to feel implied that you want people to associate BlueSky with pedos and thus the users are either pedos or cool with pedos.
Considering we're on a forum that for years faced the same slander from other places "Oh NeoGAF just pushes Alt-Right news" you'd think we'd be better about how to handle this and not blanket implication.
This contradicts what you're implying though that BlueSky is the platform for pedos by posting a message from BlueSky saying it's prioritising taking down said content and banning the users? When the site’s safety team is specifically saying they’re having to remove pedo content, it has a problem.
Mine is the same and I'm not even American! I'm like what do you want me to do about Trump? With science, tech, and video games selected as interests, and not following anyone, this is the BlueSky discover feed:

Tells you where the real privilege is.Women say stuff like that on TV all the time and don't get told to fuck off.
The company involved is the BBC, they just showed an antiques program 40 minutes ago with a male and female presenting team, the woman got so excited she gave her co-worker an unsolicited kiss. No one will be reporting her or making a fuss.Tells you where the real privilege is.
