Edit: she has a lovely face and I LOVE her lips (thin or non-existent lips are the devil... Usually)... She has no booty but I can forgive that with everything else she has.

Doesn't she do like a 3 hour show almost every night? It's all cardio, no way could she eat enough to actually bulk during a concert tour. Plus she would get mocked endlessly if she ever looked even a tiny bit fat.

Sadly, it's no wonder that female celebs pick an anorexic look over any kind of weight lifting one.

Women with somewhat unique facial features that veer outside the typical Western beauty norms spend a lot of time on makeup to make them look closer to those norms.

With makeup on those unique features can make them stand out from the rest, but with less or no makeup they will look quite different.

Sydney is one of those women, she has a droopy dog down syndrome look in some of these roles, they aren’t “uglifying” her, they are just not hiding her “outside of beauty standards” features.

A lot of it is looking at poorly lit "Candid photos" versus heavily worked over glamour shots. Put her, and almost ALL, Hollywood girls in a room with you and they stand out. Anyone can have a haggard face after partying and little sleep but in my experience, limited as it is, these starlets would still be the center of attention even if they were not famous, many have "that glow" about them, radiate charisma, and in general are picked because they have these attributes already, they didn't develop them as a side effect of being on film. I've met plenty at cons and while that environment is fairly artificial, it can also show you what they are "like" when not on set.

They are also often TINY little people, or giraffe like. The distortions brought on by seeing folks only through a lens versus their real world appearance can be jarring.

No kidding. So long as she keeps the body fat high enough to keep them milkers she can bulk up. LOVE a girl with a bit of delt/traps in the arms, a bit of pec line, subtle six pack, and quads with that little muscle knot right above the knee. So few actresses, compared to men, do any muscle training, it's sad.
