Kinda sucks that the game is hyped af right now, because there's now a 99% chance the servers will buckle at launch time.

Pretty sure you don't have to buy a separate key for each platform
Looks like you need to purchase a separate key for each platform. On the plus side, if this is your first PoE or if you haven't purchased stash tabs on PoE 1, you're going to need that $60 worth of mtx cash anyway.
As far as PC is concerned. It looks like you only need one purchase no matter what launcher you use. I purchased on Steam but I'll be able to download on path of exile.com and they are giving me a key to access it on Steam and Epic Game Store.
A cool feature that I just saw is that "couch" co-op will also work on PC. I feel like usually this functionality never works on PC. It doesn't work on D4, for example.

Marvel rivals also comes out same day so if the servers for poe2 take a shit I’ll go play some of that.Just read a quote from the dev's that in testing the servers shit the bed at 1.6 million so if you see a que around that figure on Friday then just go do something else.
My back up is Indiana Jones if it reviews well. Or Rivals, but good chance that shits the bed also though. That's FTP as well right?Marvel rivals also comes out same day so if the servers for poe2 take a shit I’ll go play some of that.
A lot of PoE1 is creating your loot. Very few builds need a specific unique and even then you can target farm them.I just hope the loot is actually good, i don't wanna spend 200 hours for a nice drop. Lets reward players who don't have time to play the game 24/7.
Regarding this? Anyone knows if the limit from PoE1 will be in PoE2?I'm not entirely sure about if the guilds we have in PoE 1 carry over to PoE2, but I'll make the NeoGAF guild, like I did in Diablo 4.
Kings of Loot? Sounds good, man. I don't have enough experience in Path of Exile so i hope what you say is true.A lot of PoE1 is creating your loot. Very few builds need a specific unique and even then you can target farm them.
They are the kings of loot.
Monk or Ranger, leaning Ranger as i watched a vid and the dev's said its their intention to make Ranger feel like your playing as Legolas. What class is everyone playing, think I'll try out Witch first.

Question:
If I buy stash space with the coins received will each character I create get their own empty stash in which to store stuff or are all my characters supposed to 'share' the purchased stash space?
I hope that make sense. (or how did this work in POE 1?)
They do.Wait are you saying that PoE1 Stash Tabs are going to carry over to PoE 2?
Wow, good on GGG. Best investment I ever made lolThey do.

Friday if you buy a supporters pack, minimum spend $30.I haven’t spent anything on poe 1, never got into it for various reasons, but I am ready and if this is half as exciting as it looks I will probably buy storage and some other things if I like it.
When will I be able to try this? Haven’t bought early access or anything such.
I believe its worth €30.Question, dunno if it's been answered yet.
If i buy the $30 supporter pack I get "300 points" which i assume is the in game microtransaction currency. How much is that actually worth though? I know the recommendation is stash tabs but how many would that get you?
Thanks man.In POE1, it depends on the league:
In Standard (softcore persistent) and non SSF (solo-self-found) then yes, they share the stash. Which is a ostensibly a good thing as you can twink out your other characters if you like.
In Hardcore and/or SSF then each character starts with their own. (*)
In Seasonal, non HC, non SSF(*) then each season starts with a fresh stash, but subsequent characters share that.
When a league ends (and presumably when a HC character dies? not sure, I don't play HC) then all of the stashes get moved to the corresponding Standard league. The overflow stashes appear in the retirement league as "Remove Only" tabs which means you don't lose any of your stuff, and it creates (many) additional stashes to hold all the stuff, but items can only be removed from them, not added. When all items are removed from a remove-only tab it disappears.
(*) Edit, actually it's been a while, I might be wrong about the SSF, I think it _is_ shared between characters for that season, but you just can't trade with other players. Either way you get the idea.
Whatever the Necromancer is called in PoE. I think i will go with that. What class is everyone playing, think I'll try out Witch first.
”Beta”, huh?Friday if you buy a supporters pack, minimum spend $30.
Or wait 6-12 months when it comes out of beta and goes FTP.
Yeah, an actual proper beta, like BG3. The full release should be glorious.”Beta”, huh?
Has nothing to do with BG3, even if it's called "beta" it's already bigger than Diablo 4 on launch (and now), and bigger than what Path of Exile 1 was for years, when it wasn't on beta anymore.Yeah, an actual proper beta, like BG3. The full release should be glorious.
But for now this looks fantastic as is.

To clarify, I was thinking more along those lines. It looks better than most finished games.Yeah, an actual proper beta, like BG3. The full release should be glorious.

Not sure I follow you. I was just commenting that its launching into early access and its a actual proper beta, just like BG3 did. Not, for example a COD style 1 month before launch type beta.Has nothing to do with BG3, even if it's called "beta" it's already bigger than Diablo 4 on launch (and now), and bigger than what Path of Exile 1 was for years, when it wasn't on beta anymore.
Yes, there are 3 acts missing and classes, but even after it's full release, there will be more acts added just like what they did with the first part, so why not keep waiting then.
Oh my bad, i thought you were refering to the size of the game, since BG3's EA was just the first act.Not sure I follow you. I was just commenting that its launching into early access and its a actual proper beta, just like BG3 did. Not, for example a COD style 1 month before launch type beta.
Thanks. This is info I was looking for. These 300 points would already cost 30$, so the value of the supporter pack this time is very good since you get a year early access for a game that already has a lot of content (and will get big updates each 3-4 months for sure)
With 300 points, if you buy when the stash are on sale (goes on sale once each 14 days, during the weekend), you should get the Currency and Maps tabs which are 180 points combined right now, then if you don't plan to use trade with other people, get the extra 6 tabs for 120 points and you'd be fine already, if you plan to use trade then i would personally add 10 more dollars and get the 6 premium stash pack and the Fragment one, which while not needed, it's a big QoL one.
There are other QoL ones you can get but these aren't nearly as important.
My first ever Character was Amazon with Bow in Diablo 1. But i now prefer Necro and Sorceress.Ranger - I have a thing for archers in video games.
Pretty sure you don't have to buy a separate key for each platform
Just to clarify, when you purchase an Early Access Key on PC, this will only unlock Early Access on our Standalone PC Client. PC Players with Early Access can navigate to my-account/early-access to claim a Client Key, which will allow them to download the Path of Exile 2 client on either Steam or Epic Games.
When purchasing Early Access from a Console store, this will only unlock Early Access on the Console platform which the purchase was made.
If you wish to play Early Access on both Xbox and PC, I'm afraid you will need to purchase Early Access on both platforms.
