Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
The best aspect of Elder Ring was it's incredible world, stuffed with amazing things to find and enjoy, that offered up an open world experience heads and shoulders above everything else. Shadow of the Erdtree has a huge open world, but forgot to actually put stuff in it. Just endlessly trotting around to find useless crafting materials. They also decided camera control and screen visibility were difficulty mechanics now, and so some bosses are designed to literally disengage your camera and fill the screen with garbage so you can't see the fight. Lastly, the final boss is probably the least enjoyable boss in the entire thing. It's a needlessly long, repetitive fight whose second phase is just simply not very fun to learn. It's not "too hard", it's just "not good enough" to bother with. I'll easily replay Elden Ring again - but I'll never play the DLC again. It's high review scores show me reviewers don't know anything, and likely just rated it on its size without understanding the quality therein.
