I wondering if 175k LTD is out of the question now.
It wasn't looking much better before, just right now you can see its only #16 on amazon.co.jp PSP-only chart, its not (and its never been I think) on comgnet top20 preordered titles...and its launching on the same day as three other big PSP games: Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2010, Momotarou Dentetsu Tag Match and Naruto Shippuden: Kizuna Drive.duckroll said:Hmmm, after thinking about it more, I think it might be a struggle for Last Ranker to even hit 50k in the first week. An opening week of 25-35k is not out of the question... Why is it all looking so pessimistic now?

Funnily enough, long-delayed, not-as-good-looking, Image Epoch's Fate/Extra releases just a week later and its looking much better positioned to do good.

I am having a hard time trying to figure out the purpose of this thread..I have an assumption but this is boggling my mind.
01. / 02. [WII] Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Nintendo) - 53.000 / 572.000 (-28%)
02. / 00. [NDS] Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (Capcom) - 24.000 / NEW

cvxfreak said:It's looking less and less likely for Galaxy 2 to catch up to Galaxy 1. It'll be a little while longer before it meets Sunshine's 800K LTD, too.
Cosmonaut X said:Yeah, unless there's some amazing stabilising going on next week, it seems that it's going to end up somewhere between Sunshine and Galaxy when it finally stops selling (note: not when it drops off the charts). Not bad, but it would have been nice to see it match or exceed SMG, as it certainly seems to deserve the sales.

Maybe you guys missed the discussion in the last thread, but only about half of the Trauma series games ever see the Top 30. It's possible this is the biggest opening the series has seen.jj984jj said:Ghost Trick and Trauma Team bomba.

2:0 Japan. Things are looking bright, but there's still the Paraguay game.Die Squirrel Die said:20 minutes in and Japan are 1-0 against Denmark. 1.5 million for IE3 confirmed?

Oh, I know how terribly the games do in Japan. But the game is so much more than the Trauma Center games, and should have appealed way more to Japanese gamers. It's pretty sad. I can't wait to see how it underperforms in North America. :|JoshuaJSlone said:Maybe you guys missed the discussion in the last thread, but only about half of the Trauma series games ever see the Top 30. The games keep getting made, so it has to sell somewhere.Aeana said:I can't wait to see how it underperforms in North America. :|

World cup is doing wonders for games huh? Winning Eleven went up, and Inazuma 3 should do well next week.
Paraguay looks to be one level above Japan.duckroll said:The Paraguay game will determine whether Inazuma 3 sells over 2 million or not. Right now, I would says well over a million is a lock!
cvxfreak said:Early price drops spread the effect out. That said, I thought the new colors would be more popular. Looks like 3DS hype is going to have it's toll on DS sales even this early.

I was impressed from Honda (for a Japanese player). First time I saw a Japan game in this world cup. Anyone knows what's his team?
EDIT: Found him. CSKA Moscow
Paraguay looks to be one level above Japan.
