This game is pretty much Kid Icarus Uprising Part 2. You will either learn to forgive the game's most talked about flaws and have a pretty fun time or have a diehard hate for the game. I will say that it keeps the player much more engaged later on than in the early levels given how there is so much more to cover once you have a full party of four along with subweapons, boilers, multiple characters to choose, and their supers to take into account.
Some of the level design and combat scenarios are also pretty unforgiving since an unprepared player can get swarmed and annihilated in one enemy turn if they aren't careful. Codename Steam basically pounds it into your head to make your choices very carefully when picking team members and loadouts. Generally I play a level for ~5 minutes before going back to the start of the mission to respec my team and adjust a roster until I get a good start on the level. Overall, I guess my point is that the game has a ton of strategic elements at play to keep it engaging but it also requires a bit of patience so if you are quick to frustrate and get anxious with long enemy turns, then this game will probably piss you off.
