My point is, moronic groups like these are for every game. This is just another ragebait.
What I try to say that title isn't really incorrect as topic is literally about Veilguard's Facebook group. I do agree that it's not really thread worthy, but at a same time I'm kinda glad this stupid rule is brought to public attention as it will certainly make a day for a lot of folks lol

Because it's used to troll nowadays like in news stories when someone is killed or something bad happens a certain group of people flood the story with laugh reactions.

I don't think it's an all out ban on laugh reactions but to combat the trolls.

Yup. But nuance and empathy are lost on certain segments of the population anymore.

Plus it’s someone’s personal FB group. If they wanted people to post…say… pics of strawberries every Monday or they get booted…guess what you’re posting every Monday if you want to stay in their personal group…🍓

You guys cant really be surprised.

Some people are just wacky self centred emotional people. They love it when they are surrounded by like minded people all giving each other creepy group hugs. But when faced with adversity or simply a different viewpoint on forums, at work, with family etc... they are the first ones to complain, cry or call someone Hitler.

One thing to remember. Despite someone's age, never assume an adult aged person acts like an adult. Sometimes in life you have to talk to someone like a child even if they are 50 years old. Sounds crazy, but that's life.

Case in point. One person I worked with years back (I wasnt her boss) was one of those emotional people. She seemed to do an ok job from what I saw when I interacted with her. But her boss (my good friend) hated that she'd always have to give her positive reinforcement for a job well done. If she didn't, the worker would be depressed thinking she was doing bad. She wasnt lying because sometimes I'd get copied on those emails..... you know, the ones where people start replying "Thanks XXXXX, you did a great job!". That kind of stuff that just fills your inbox and is an instant delete wasting my time.

The worker was around 52 years old working in the industry for probably 25 years. An industry vet, but after decades still emotional.

My man, with all due respect, we are talking about a community of a high fantasy setting game where people literally morphs into dragons. Would a 😂 result any bad consequences?

Totally rational, civil, mature, and not mentally ill mods over there. I will not hear any slander against a zero tolerance for lol symbols. Emoji's are violence. Again, not mental illness and irrational to want to silence that fucking emoji. Those mods are on the right side of history.

I was speaking in general about the laugh reaction being used to troll nowadays.

It's too much dog whistling going on in the gaming community nowadays & they know certain games are being targeted by these groups of people.

Those who are offended by the laugh emoji should fight back with an emoji that represents their own feelings.

Is there a pink sock emoji?
