Funny you are the one saying this. Jedi Survivor launched on Steam day one. And to be clear, I think Veilguard looks terrible, the dialogues are terrible and all this "modern" stuff feels completely out of place. I just don't see how are you better than the people you are criticizing when all it takes to verify this is literally one or two quick google searches.

That doesn't mean it can't be a B-tier game. Also, that's mainly from PC and Xbox audiences, who are used to either unoptimized games or mediocrity, so standards are probably lower when it comes to production-value.

Besides, despite all it's flaws, Concord IQ was good, performance was outstanding and animations were god-tier, so yeah, even Sony's biggest flop from a new no-name studio can make those great games you mentioned look like B-tier in certain aspects.

Less than a third of the other major RPG release this year, Dragon's Dogma. Hardly amazing.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 peaked at around 230K.

Veilguard will almost certainly hit its all time peak on Sunday so we’ll have to wait until then to get a fair comparison.

Most likely it’ll be around half of what Dragons Dogma did. Which seems pretty lousy IMO

From what I’ve seen, it’s all a bit cringe. It could be cool for teens struggling, though.

You can always not engage from the options they give? I’m unsure about that. I’ll never play it. It’s no Dustborn in its stupidity from the snippets.

I can understand this as a perception, however...

BG3 is one of the gayest and homoerotic games ever made. Universal praise on here and everywhere.
