But, once again, I'm gonna politely remind that extended media is in most cases not canon. And there are no overt, or even implied, hints of the things you're saying in the actual games themselves.
Once again, not part of the game and the manga in question that you're referring to is an adaptation of the game which made changes to various key elements of the game, it is not a continuation or expansion of the universe, it is an alternate retelling by someone other than the game's writers or creators:
This manga features three new characters, and several events are altered from the video game.

I'm curious to know where you feel the book and movie fit in to all of this. You don't get to just dismiss all the content surrounding the game because it doesn't fit your current agenda.
All of this is absolutely bizarre by the way, you're throwing parasite eve and fear effect (both of which are game series which tackle mature themes in interesting ways while also featuring female protagonists) under the bus in the name of Avowed.
How many more classics need to be sacrificed in your relentless defence of this game?

I was already expecting some Hexen goodness and instead they delivered a trip to Disneyland.

No, I just asked what some good LGBTQ written games are from the PS1 era that you mentioned a few pages ago, Parasite Eve is decidedly not one, we have concluded. There's just that one you mentioned Ark Raiders that I haven't played personally so I can't comment on it and will defer to your word.
And, I can tell you as someone who has pursued dozens of Resident Evil mangas and manhuas, these things are not canon. Leon has a fist fight with a licker in one and Nemesis and Birkin have an epic one on one fight in one which Nemesis wins, neither are things that any of the official media has. These one's were also official Capcom collaborations but that doesn't mean jack shit.
Especially in this case the Parasite Eve manga is specifically labeled as something that edits events from the main game and adds / removes characters.

Outer Worlds is a perfectly fine RPG, is it Obsidian's best written game? No, but the choice and consequences in it are still better and more impactful than most RPG's releasing today.
If you haven't, give it a shot. It's up on both PS+ and Game Pass, so very easy to access with 60fps options on modern consoles.

I have played it.
There is a fair bit of reactivity, but mostly I refrain from experimenting with it, to ensure desired outcome. It all seems fragile and you never know when situation gets out of hand.
Maybe I should, just like I do with Bethesda games. Where I attempt to shoot every character at least once to see what happens.

You can absolutely do that, it's very fun actually lol.
Outer Worlds also has one of my favorite "dumb character builds" in a game where you keep your intelligence etc stat as low as possible. It opens up a lot of unique dialogue and even different endings to the game altogether.

Smaller compared to a TES for sure but it's not a small game in general, with side quests and companion stuff it will be 20~25 hours, more if you're a completionist. It's not a single massive land slab, made up of multiple big ' zones'.
If you end up liking the main game, it also has 2 story expansions which have their own self-contained plots.
Some subjective issues like character models not looking that great aside, it's the natural evolution of Obsidian's quest style post Fallout NV.

It depends on how you play, if you just stupidly run through the story then yes, you can easily manage it in 15 hours, if you do all the quests and everything, well, you can stretch it out for 40 hours, on average everyone gets 20-25 hours. If you take into account the content and the world, then yes, this is probably the shortest Obsidian game. Although its main problem is that it came out after Tyranny (In my opinion, a very underrated game) and two parts of Pillars of Eternity, which in terms of dialogue, characters and history are much better and more interesting. Despite the fact that I played it, you can put a gun to my head, I don’t remember anything from this game at all, only individual scraps of the plot.

This is correct. There is only like one instance of a close friend that maybe Aya had sentimental feeling towards but they get killed so regardless it defaults to Kyle.
Furthermore the grasping at straws with the artwork is amusing since it's illustrating how Eve is getting inside Aya's head given the connection with Mitochondria.
