I really enjoyed Unicorn Overlord. One of my favorite rpgs this year. Are you playing Fantasian next?
I might but not at launch because I still need to finish up DQIII 2D-HD. My attention for replaying Unicorn Overlord was not finish it but just keep me busy until DQIII comes out but man my addiction to this game was too strong.

Even tho I was REALLY enjoy DQIII, I was just keep playing Unicorn Overlord because I was god damn hooked like when I played the first time.

That’s what I’m playing at the moment too. I’ve got my party to level 39. A small break here and there was good. It’s a wholesome game. It’s good to mix it up so you start fresh when you return. As much as I love DQ. It is rich with its colors, sounds, and combat.

I surprisingly reply like Monster battle arena, it not all that deep but its fun and you get LOT of money.

I am ascending the 7,000 Steps to High Hrothgar. I am reading the Etched Tablets on the Emblems along the way. The third one is awesome.

"The fledgling spirits of Men were strong in Old Times

Unafraid to war with Dragons and their Voices

But the Dragons only shouted them down and broke their hearts"

That last part reads like poetry to me.

Finished Sonic X Shadow Generations. Really enjoyed my time with it. Still don't put Sonic games these days up there with other platformers, but I liked it a lot. The problem with Sonic games is levels are designed for you to go really fast, but then there are clearly sections of each level where you really can't go really fast. And to me it's like ok pick a lane. The stop and go nature of some of the levels can be annoying. I noticed this on the final level of the Shadow campaign specifically.

I never tried Sonic Frontiers, I may try it. Next up going to decide between Life is Strange: Double Exposure and Armored Core 6.

I've been having so much with Fable I forgot to mention all the other shit I've been playing

New World

I pretty much played this constantly for about a month after the console release. I'm scared to even look up how many hours I put into it. My super short review is this: game is actually really solid. Combat felt great, story is fine, PVP is solid, world is stunning, enemies are diverse...it's pretty much solid all around. It just does ask a good amount of your time. The way factions and companies work, the game heavily incentivizes playing it a lot. And that's sort the expectation of most Companies I've run into. Basically I ended up dropping it as I find it difficult to balance MMOs with other games and I have a pretty short attention span.

I do feel like this game gets way more hate than it deserves. I expected to find a piece of shit given how many horrible horrible things I've heard and read about it, and instead I found easily one of the best MMOs I've ever played. I had 100x more fun with it than I ever did with FF XIV and ESO. I don't think the p2w mechanics are any worse than WoW. You can pay for stuff like XP boosts, but just doing the MSQ will get you to max level in a weekend. And you can level any weapon to maximum by just grinding certain mobs. Take into consideration the game is just a one time purchase without any sub, and I really think it's worth checking out.

EDIT: Holy shit how did I forget to mention the crafting? This game sets the gold standard for what crafting in an MMO should be. 10/10 crafting and gathering system.

Stardew Valley

I decided to give it a go recently after hearing about the 1.6 update hitting console. Haven't played this in a while but holy shit have they added a ton of new stuff. Game has come a long way since it first came out.

Core Keeper

Really fun and addictive. Basically Stardew Valley with more of an emphasis on combat and mining.

STALKER 2

Knew nothing about the franchise but saw it on Gamepass so gave it a go. Game feels really, really hard. Decided to take a break. This worth playing?
