No.
I have 2 questions guys
1. Is there a way of finding how many shrines I have completed without counting on the map?
2. Is Hyrule Castle something that should be left right til the end or can I go there and get at least some way into it for sidequests and then come back when more powered up?
Thanks.

Do I need ancient arrows to beat guardians? I just can't get past them without, but those arrows are expensive to buy!
I'm close to finishing the game if I want but I can't even beat a guardian or a Lynell at this point!
You can beat them with parrying (see end of previous page), but it's IMO a bit more difficult. One big tip for the Lynels is to mount them. I've got good luck with that. And just using higher level weapons against them and getting the heck out of dodge when they attack.
When you say close to finishing the game, do you mean like 100%ing it or just the main story? I'm wondering how high level weapons etc. you're getting.
If you defeat a Guardian with or without an arrow, you will get a lot of Guardian parts that are helpful in buying more arrows. And if it's a rupee issue, there are a lot of ways to make money in this game.
First few links here can definitely help on that front.
Thanks for the answer! I haven't found the 'The Kakariko Village Shrine' so I guess I have to go back and find it so I can learn to parrying!
With close to finishing I mean that I have the master sword and beat al the define beast, my best weapons are around 50 I guess but these are the heavy weapons. Right now I'm trying to get enough rupees to pay the last fairy!
What the fuck
I dropped one of the orange orb thingies in the muddy water on Eventide Island and I can't get it back.

I tried. It doesn't respawn either.Use the freezing water mechanic
I tried. It doesn't respawn either.
And I can't leave the island or save scum.
LMAO
Yo, where exactly can I see, how many hours I've put into this thing so far?
It's mind-blowing that...apparently...we're getting a full huge DLC for this in like a month.
Wario64 just posted a deal where you might be able to get the Deluxe Edition guide for free from Amazon if you sign up for Audible's free trial through Amazon. Wario says your miles may vary, but it worked for me!

Im finally getting back to this after dropping off of it a month after it came out and Im 35 hours in on a new save and just finished the Gerudo dungeon and...... I hated it
Yeah it was annoying as hell. It was also first dungeon Ive done this save and Ive been using all of my shrine orbs on stamina so I only had three hearts so the boss was more difficult than it should have beenthe camel beast was my least favourite by a long way
That tower in the Akkala region was something else.
I kinda made it up there eventually, but in retrospect I'd like to know 2 things.
1.) Is there a way to get rid of that purple goo?
2.) Do you ever get equipment that lets you climb during rain? That was really the biggest obstacle, the whole tower took me like 2-3 in-game days because the area has almost constant rain and thunder.
Man... what? lolOkay I accidentally took the orb on top of the hill down the hill and now I need octo balloons to lift it back up only it will only go straight up so there's no way to pick it up wtf
Edit: okay so four octoballoons is too much and one balloon is too little. Then I used up all the balloons so I had to wait for the blood moon to respawn the octorocks and they don't drop balloons anymore. FUCK THIS STUPID CHALLENGE
Probably a stupid question, 60hrs in, one device beast down, however Im at the castle at the moment and I defeat it, will the game or story be finished, and can I still defeat the other devine beasts?
I had a half year hiatus and I never really did a lot of shrines back then. It's my first Hinox for example. Anyway, the problem was I thought there was only one place where I could place those orbs not knowing there were two more on the island which are obstructed for some reason. So I did the hill second and left the Hinox last. I went down the hill with the orb, placed it on the already blue shrine, realized it didn't take it, went and look for another and placed it on the shrine that was supposed to be used for the Hinox orb. So now I had to kill the Hinox and move the orb somehow on top of the hill, except you can't really walk up there without climbing.Man... what? lol
You seem to be massively over-complicating the whole island.
So at this point i totally wouldn't be surprised if right after Mario Odyssey releases, they drop a trailer for the Champion's Ballad announcing that it will be released like the week after. I don't think we'll get a month gap between info and release.
I read this several times and still dont understand what youre trying to achieve. Its not a puzzle in the sense that you have to solve for a specific problem (outside how to connect the lock and key). It is more of a challenge in that you are stripped of your usual equipment and are meant to scavenge to make it through. There is no right way or predetermined path. You explore, you survive, you overcome.I had a half year hiatus and I never really did a lot of shrines back then. It's my first Hinox for example. It's just dumb design to not have the orbs be really interchangeable and have shrines being covered by a bunch of metal crates and a giant plate. It shouldn't even be classified as a puzzle. It's a non-puzzle. So now I have to give up, leave the island and do it the correct way.
I accidentally took the orb on top of the mountain down the mountain and used it to unlock a different lock. I now have no way to unlock the lock on top of that mountain because I need to climb up that mountain with the last remaining orb in hand.I read this several times and still dont understand what youre trying to achieve. Is it possible to stasis the orbs? I havent played in a while and cant recall. Well, the mountain is quite vertical so I'm not sure at which angle and how many times you're supposed to hit it. I tried it with octoballoons a half dozen times but it didn't work.Is it possible to stasis the orbs? I havent played in a while and cant recall. You might be able to hit one up there.
There is probably a way to solve for this. Whether or not you are willing to invest the time and energy to overcome that wall of frustration is a personal choice. Worst case, you restart and take an easier path. I get the annoyance, trust me.Well, the mountain is quite vertical so I'm not sure at which angle and how many times you're supposed to hit it. I'm just miffed there's a way to fail that challenge that doesn't involve dying, since like you said, the whole point of that challenge is to beat it naked. So at this point it is a bit like a puzzle that isn't very clever.
When do we expect to get news about the second DLC? VGAs?

The laughter that was had, the first time I told my buddy to press "b" after unearthing a Korok under a big rock.Decided to poke around the Plateau for Koroku on my quest for the remaining ~150 I need to find, not expecting to find many. Found like four within a few hundred meters of each other lmao.
We cannot be friends if finding Koroks doesnt tickle you like it does me, because I love these lil fellers
