I haven't turned my ps4 on for a couple of weeks now. It's been my biggest regret gaming purchase ever.

I should have known I wouldnt be that interested in it after failing to even finish gta5 or the last of us on my ps3.

I need driveclub or a good 2-d fighter badly.

Nfs and ac series don't interest me at all sorry.

I was burned with both ac and ac2 being so hyped for them both but both let me down immensely.

Need for speed never really interested me since ps2 days. But played one, played them all.

I got up to about chapter 7 of kill zone and I hate multiplayer shooters because I suck at it and if your just casual shooter fan, you can't match some of the hardcores.

Resogun was good for about two hours but I couldn't ever save more than a couple humans.

Was watching some videos of war thunder which may be something I like. Is it any good for noobs? I like ww2 history so I might like that.

I pre-ordered my ps4 based on thinking that drive club, deep down and mgs5 would all be put near launch time and all be pretty good. I also hoped knack was going to be as great as crash bandicoot, but doesn't seem that way.

Yeah, I'm glad I got the Bone. Resogun is pretty awesome but other than that Im not really excited about anything until Infamous. DR3 is all I'm playing on either new console. If I didn't have a nice PC, I'd be grabbing all multiplats on PS4 though.

Not gonna lie im tempted aswell, Had an X1 first but was offered silly money for it so sold it, Bought the ps4 and already got dust on it, And with Infamous being the only game on the horizon with any worth then I can live with the 1080p remarks as I wanna play some exclusives now like the ones you mention.

Was extremely close to doing this, but then I just keep remembering that I need the PS4 to play with my brother and other friends. I want it so bad for Titanfall, MW2 is the best, so I'd love TF. Oh well though, the Order 1886 looks really really good too.

It's possible the ambient heat generated by the PS3 will affect the PS4's temperatures.

Surely you wouldn't have them both on at the same time...

I feel the same way at the moment but I still feel I'll continue playing the bone more in 2014. Titanfall will start the madness. Bought a year of plus already so I guess I'll just be collecting my free games until infamous.

Cod has stuttering here and there on the ps4 multiplayer. BF4 works now somewhat, so it is my current favorite. Ass creed 4 is good but I was disappointed in the multiplayer.

FWIW...I enjoyed AC4 a lot more than AC3. No excruciating slow intro to slog through this time around and they really fleshed out the naval battles. Although it still is an AC game with the janky stuff like stealth that still really hasn't been improved much since AC2.

COD is COD. KZ SP is decent...and many GAFFers seem to like the MP but the online population seems pretty small. Numbers in the thousands at best versus tens of thousands for COD and BF4. Haven't played BF4 but they seem to have fixed a lot of the issues in the latest patch. I'd say buy what your friends have.

Why do you say that?

The PS4 has all of its vents on the sides and back of the machine. Putting anything on top of it causes no blockages to airflow. I don't think the 3slim is heavy enough to cause pressure stress either.

heat can still permeate through the plastic on electronics, and the stacked console will act like an extra layer of insulation. it will probably never result in overheating though.

it does seem strange that you are getting rid of a console due to not having games out for it yet, for a bunch of games on a different console that aren't out yet.... you may regret this decision, but to each their own

unless dead rising/ryse look particularly appealing to you (DR3 looks ace to me, ryse looks like shit), you might want to either wait it out or grab both

Seemed weird to me as well. Sony has a huge magnitude of more inhouse studios, so we know their output will be much bigger. And we know next to nothing about SO (insomniac trending downwards) and QB. Halo with 343 is also an uncertainty..

yeah, its sad, but it seems as if i have no other choice. for infamous fans, the wait for a new game won't be that bad. but for ps4 owners who dont like infamous, such as myself, i dont want to wait until next fall to play a ps4 exclusive im interested in (the order) wheras the competiton (xbox one) has a killer exclusive in titanfall that i am so eager to play.

Honestly, I think you should do it. It will only be a temporary switch for me (until my 1 yr live runs out) , but titanfall looks absolutely amazing for a multiplayer junkie like myself.

Judging by most of the replies he got and other types of similar post I've seen around, I don't think its too uncommon. I'm pretty sure many people are silently feeling the same way.

For a PC gamer, PS4 doesn't seem to really have much going at the moment except for some better performing multiplats, but if better performing multiplats were all that mattered I'd just buy them on PC. Then there's the f2p games that are basically old PC releases. Similar case for some of the indies too.

Luckily I've been able to afford both consoles, but my PS4 is getting no usage and I'm constantly contemplating selling it till there are some truly must have exclusive experiences on it as I want to buy other things and feel the money is better spent, especially when I'm feeling so dissatisfied. I don't even have it connected right now. The scope of what the console offers as a total experience feels limited to the point of frustration.

Then when I feel I'm ready to sell it, I convince myself that I'm probably get a PS4 anyway and that Ill probably just end up buying one again soon. Its annoying.

Criticise MS all you like for putting much effort into providing services outside of gaming, but those efforts are the reason why I haven't gone a day without turning the XB1 on (and keeping it on all day) since launch day.

whatever you do don't buy BF4 on PS4, even at $35 it was a waste. Cant run a single game of conquest without it crashing.
Also SP data has been corrupted twice now.

COD runs fine and looks 100x better.

it is, but you have to have the ps3 disc in when playing the ps4 version. its dumb. also, like someone else said earlier, the game crashes a lot. ive been lucky and havent had too many crashes.

I'm not going to lie, I haven't played my PS4 in a while either, but that's more due to the ridiculous amount of games still coming out for last gen that I need to play. I got the ps3 upgrade for AC4:BF and BF4 and havn't had a crash yet (outside of bf4 crashes that are on the server level)... Guess I've been lucky too :S

As far as the ps4 trade in goes, I am personally having no buyers remorse for the system, I absolutely love it. Granted I only get to play ~15 hrs a week and thats spread around the vita, ds, and ps4. I will eventually get an xbox one (probably around tax time or if titanfall is too tempting) but in the mean time I'd stick with the ps4 in my personal opinion. Things will only get better from here.

Yeah, I sold so many 360's and PS3's last gen but I told myself that I would not repeat that this gen. I bought both consoles at launch and I'm keeping them until they die or when the new "Slim" versions come out.

Personally, buying and then selling console is a dumb thing to do. What's the point? Especially if you're going to buy it again in a few months time. You lose so much in the selling process that you are better off keeping the console and save money to buy the other console.

I said that as a PC gamer, the PS4 doesn't offer much to me that I can't get from my PC already. Coupled with the not so stellar first party support and I just feel kind of disappointed with my PS4 at the moment.

Basically, the way things are looking, XB1 is better if you already have a gaming PC, but ONLY at launch! Afterwards, there are all kinds of PS4 games that aren't coming to PC. Quite a bit more than XB1 even, if I'm remembering correctly.
