I wasn't really doubting MP legs as much as the Wii U.

I just looked at MP9 sales. Opened at ~150k and crossed 500k about 2 1/2 months later while still doing ~9k a week. Impressive.

Nintendo is the only company that needs to moneyhat developers to keep their multi million selling IPs on their systems xD

Listened to the latest IGN Nintendo Voice Chat and they were arguing that Nintendo probably had to convince L5 to put YW3 on 3DS, even though they earlier admitted that YW2 versions sold amazing +5 million on 3DS earlier. Well...

Obviously Capcom is making a kiddy version of MonHun for Nintendo so they can move the main games back to Sony, who has a more mature audience.

In addition to legs, I think Mario Party 10 will be ripe for this year's Family Bundle to help push sales. They'll probably need to throw in a second game with it though, maybe Smash would be good so they can push it past a million.

I don't know. This seems more like them cushioning the blow before dropping the megaton at the monster hunter event that mh5 is for vita/ps4:)
on a side note, has Sony made any price cuts for vita in Japan in a while?

Monhan Nikki did ~600k and I'd suggest this is a more significant project than that. It's hard to say without seeing more of the game yet but if it really is essentially Pokémonhan it could be huge.

That was my thoughts after the announcement too. It certainly fits the description of Gaist Crusher I seem to remember them using when it was first announced, Monster Hunter for a younger audience.

You joke, but there would be a mass cry from the Nintendo fanbase if Capcom did something of this nature. Hell, half of GAF would have to be put on suicide watch. Just gotta buckle down and wait for the event. As for the Vita, they've bee doing bundles, but I haven't seen an actual price cut since the 2000 came out right?
