Let's start a prediction game! How many weeks will Galaxy 2 be above NSMB Wii on the tracker of your choice? :lol
I vote 4.
I vote 2-3 weeks, max. I am leaning towards 2 instead of 3.

Yeah. Garaph database is a few weeks behind at present, but as of the last update PS3 total third party sales were about 13 million, Wii about 9 million. They seem to be pretty even until a little more than a year ago, but since that time PS3 third party sales have nearly doubled.Second said:Have total 3rd party games on Ps3 sold better than total Wii 3rd party? FFXIII should've helped a lot.

how much did it sell in japan? 170k?
it sold almost 500k copies, not bad at all. factoring in a PAL release it should be able to reach 600k copies, possibly something more.

This post doesn't make much sense.Cheesemeister said:Developer and brand fatigue, perhaps? It's not a bad idea to let a waning series take a break for a number of years and then bring it back when demand has returned.

According to a 1Up report on a localization session from last week's Game Developers Conference, the PlayStation 3-exclusive role-playing game was approaching total sales of 250,000 copies. Initial shipments of the game totaled just 15,000 copies, but the game picked up steam from positive word of mouth and critical raves.
Atlus is apparently happy with the performance of its recent release. In a quarterly report this week, the publisher said sales of Demon's Souls were strong, helping push sales of its home gaming segment up more than 8 percent year-over-year. According to a translation by game site Siliconera, the company's six-month operating profit more than doubled, jumping 236.1 percent to 78 million yen (roughly $4.15 million).

If someone does, we can figure out how much it actually ended up selling on PSN.
