The art in this game is sooooo fucking good.
Yeah its Bungie. Art style was never a problem for them. The art in this game is sooooo fucking good.
I want this to be good, but have my doubts.

Its an extraction shooter. Is it another Looter Shooter.....because I don't want that.
A maybe for me.Its an extraction shooter.
Looks fairly similar to what the showed in the trailer last year.Idk, I feel this game went back to the drawing board again. Bungie did the same shit with both Destiny games and we got incomplete experiences day-1 despite their prestine gameplay loop. I have the gut feeling Marathon will be another victim of Bungie's mismanegement.
I mentioned in the previous sentence both Destiny games were, those were the mismaneged projects in question.Looks fairly similar to what the showed in the trailer last year.
What other Bungie games have been a victim of their mismanagement?
But both games turned out great?I mentioned in the previous sentence both Destiny games were, those were the mismaneged projects in question.
If you watch the video he explains why.No gameplay? It's going to be bad.
Fuck the naysayers, this could be awesome.WISHLISTED.
Not really, as information surfaced after the launch of both games (at their respective releases), we got reputable journalists like Jason Schrerier when he was still in Kotaku talking about the messy and troubled development of Destiny 1. The Messy, True Story Behind The Making Of Destiny. We got an interview with him mentioning it on a podcast and how Bungie said making content in general was hard for the game due to their engine's bottlenecks and consumption rate from playersBut both games turned out great?

Destiny 2 had a very rough initial launch coupled with controversial changes in the gameplay formula as being slower overall (movement, abilities and super regen times), PvP was shrunk from 6v6 to 4v4, PvP rewards didn't offer initially any drops beyong a rare (blue) gear in comparison to the purple (legendary) gear and very rare gold exotic drop. But the worst offender by far was the double primary meta where everything from sniper rifle, fusions rifles, and shotguns that were special weapons in the first game became heavies and needed heavy ammo bricks while being hella underpowered compared to the other heavies as rocket launchers swords and whatnot.
Prior to the first Destiny 2 yearly expansion, Bungie themselves flew community members to help in shape up the expansion because they thought it was a do or die moment to the game due to all the negativity surrounding it at the time as the previous released DLCs in Curse of Osiris and Warmind were considered the worst piece of content the game had released so far in its life cycle.
Forsaken literally saved the game.
And so on and so forth. Not to say that expansions like Shadowkeep and Beyond Light were heavily criticized by players as Bungie's departure from Activision made them change their development pipeline as they wouldn't have support studios to help making content to the game, consequently changing the scope of yearly expansions, so we wouldn't get more Forsaken size expansions anymore.
There is much more but you get the gist. Bungie struck gold with Destiny as an ip but they always made terrible decisions with it and never had a clear vision about how to do things with the world they created. Not to mention all the monetization controversies on how the Eververse was intially brought to the game to the help the Live Team to create more events for the game to help with the content drought, or the Martin controversy, and etc. It's not because the game is successful it means it's well managed.
Early Division 1 dark zone was fantastic. Until the assholes and hackers turned up.So it's PVE/PVP I'm intrigued! The Division 1 dark zone was probably my favorite experience ever with friends last generation right there with Destiny raids so if they can strike that same feeling I'm going to be hooked.
Dude in the video explains a little bit of what they are going for. Also explains why they are not ready to show. Frustrating to still not see the game i agree but whatever. It'll come round soon enough.Looks nice but doesn't tell me anything about the game. Like, these could just as easily be screenshots from new VALORANT or Apex Legends content. Or maybe the top shot from Valve's Deadlock.
Hard to sell what makes their game unique when there's no gameplay to sell it.
Both Destiny 1 and 2 were completely mismanaged and a far cry from what they intended. But both games turned out great?
Like i said just a few posts up I really don't care how they got there. Mismanagement at Bungie has provided some excellent results. Both Destiny 1 and 2 were completely mismanaged and a far cry from what they intended.
They even managed to completely reboot D2 development a year before it released.
D1 took until The Taken King before it really redeemed itself, as it was completely barebones at launch and bugged af throughout it's entire lifespan.
Then there was a lot of friction between the D1 community and Bungie for a very long time.
Or maybe if they didn't clarify it there would be 30 threads on the front page about how Bungie were dropping Xbox.thank god they are working on that wishlist with Microsoft situation I sit around all day and wish I could wishlist some games just to make sure I remember what I am looking forward to and to ensure I get marketing emails in the future about remembering to buy the games I have added to that list. I was so worried at first.

This is just one artwork and it's already better than the entire Concord crew..
