mhhhhh. the dock looks beefier. could maybe have a couple of fans in there for improved cooling due to higher clocks than that of the Switch 1

Wow with all these picture leaks. New Switch 2 diagrams and leaked Mario game pictures it looks like will have to force Nintendo’s hand to release an official teaser or something by early next week. 🤣

It’s possible Nintendo is keeping things in the wild secret, snes was inspired by the nes, n64 by the snes, game cube in my opinion offered the real alternative and problems for modern Nintendo with Wii being the solution.

The hardware of the Switch 2 won’t be interesting. The dock won’t be interesting. The only thing that will make Switch 2 appealing will be amazing Nintendo games like the imminent next 3D Mario, since that studio hasn’t put out a full game since October 2017 (yes, I’m aware of the side game, Bowser’s Fury). And amazing new features, like if they did Game sharing/ drop-in online co-op via streaming, or fixed their netcode and used dedicated servers for all their online products.

it isn’t just Nintendo games that should make it appealing.
The device should be more powerful than a Steamdeck and thus allow for portable versions of current gen games. That’s where a significant portion of the appeal comes from.

They’ll be pushing for much more third party support than with the Switch

Dock with screen scratching technology.
Seriously I hate that dock design.

The design is fine, the build quality and QA not so much. My docks (original and OLED) have been good, plenty of space to gently place the Switch in there without having to push it in. Other dock units are a much tighter fit for some reason, scratching the screen. That's NOT how it's designed to be though. If yours does that it's defective.
