This is a very fragile trend, just like the DS' initial lead was. The PSP was also in decline, as pointed out, before a major game release (one that has the game at the top of the charts regularily) boosted it this week. Will it return to a decline next week? Who knows. There just isn't enough data at this point to seriously extrapolate to December when betwix they meet.
Saying the PSP will have a massive boost next week is about as much damage control for the PSP demand not saturating supply as much as some people felt it would as using the DS' lead established in a matter of a few weeks after launch is.
Either way, the bananas are dancing too soon.
(for the record, unless either Meteos or Pac Pix is the next Tetris, I don't see them boosting the NDS much)
