id rather watch that than the gonzo style amateur only fans trash Marvel and DC have been pumping out over the last decade or so. At least Snyder's movies look like real movies and not made for tv lifetime movies.

The Batman looked more visually stunning than anything Snyder has put out since that animated owl movie(which is also the best movie hes actually put out)

Snyder movies look good, he problem is there is no substance under all that style. Putting a character in a Jesus pose or placing an American flag behind them isn't "depth". And dressing your figures in thick overly developed muted tones doesn't make their stories interesting or their characters compelling.

It can't mask the abomination of watching Jesse Eisenberg Lex luthor forcibly shove a jolly rancher into an old guys mouth.

Visuals will only get you so far. Where marvel has succeeded and DC has failed this far, is to make a connection with the audience with the movies having a heart and characters you actually want to keep coming back to see. Theyve done it multiple times. The characters are beloved first and foremost and so even if the visuals aren't as good people will still come.

Snyder and DC have largely failed to pull this off. Theres a few times they did but not on their big projects. Supermsn dies in his second appearance in this universe... and no one is compelled to care that much because he hasn't exactly been pleasant while he was here.

Looks to me like they're trying to get on the right track with their projects. That speaks of good leadership not wanting to be second best.

It *is* desperation, though it has nothing to do with Black Adam as the other guy said.

This is a company who nearly went bankrupt due to bad decisions trying to regain the favor of their true audience, because, unlike Disney, they have no more fat to trim. They cannot afford to burn any more money in the name of 'progression'.

But to be fair, there were also issues in WB concerning actual management, personnel, etc. the way I hear it.

And before anyone say "But Henry don't like what Snyder did with Superman", this is not true.
He just want to explore the brighter, hopeful Superman we all love before going into the darker path with the Knightmare Timeline (and then redemption).
And that could perfectly work, as imo Zack with ZSJL laid the ground for a perfect Man of Steel II, happening before Darkseid's arrival.

In fact all member of the League are in a perfect place for a solo movie.
