I just started playing motorfest and I was wondering which was better when I saw this thread. I am enjoying it

If you are enjoying it now stick to it, once it opens up, it gets even better.

Motorfest is a TEMU knock-off. I couldn't even bring myself to finish up the 5 hour trial.

It is true that Motorfest is a bit TEMU, but I have over 40 hours in it, I haven't spent a dime on microtransactions. I buy all the cars I want, I find it enjoyable racing and doing events/challanges to being able to buy them.
And the best part, all of the weekly/monthly playlists are added to the event menu once over, so there is no FOMO like in Forza Horizon (unless they changed something in the past year).

5 and 4 are very similar but they're both great games IMO. 5 has better presentation and modern console support so it's a better showpiece title.

Also, HARD disagree with Tunned saying Crew Motorfest is better than the recent FH games.


Same, they kinda did a disservice with that generous 5 hour trial, I reckon a lot of people just played it and didn't bother playing the full game, I know I certainly didn't feel like playing the full game after an hour or two of the trial.

Which is why I said in my opinion, so I respect your preference like anyone else's, But Forza Horizon needs a good shakeup with 6, I would say the series peaked at 3.

Can't stand racing games in an open world.

I can't stand racing games where the car feels as if it is on rails.

Forza Horizon 5 PS5 Release Was Ready But Delayed, It's Claimed

This and Motorfest suffer from those wacky annoying characters, they needed to be more serious imo. Like older FH's or even The Crew 1.

Best thing about TCM is how you don't get showered with cars from the beginning. It's only worse than GT7 and Unbound in this

The series has been stale since 3 while getting more and more cringe. It needs a serious reboot, I'd rather double dip on the master chief collection instead.

Pro enhanced with adaptive feedback I'd double dip from PC, but any ps5 owner that's played forza horizon 3 doesn't need to bother, it's the same game just a bit prettier.

2-3 million in sales I reckon.

I wish they would add split screen to these games. Its perfect game mode for arcade racers. Even better if they bring back closed track design a la classic NFS.

One thing I will say is that while there are a lot of things in past Forza Horizon games that are way better than 5 it does have the cool custom Eventlab tracks not available in any other entry.

I feel like COD on gamepass having no impact on console sales is the final straw for Microsoft. Combine that with Spencer saying "no red lines" the other week, and I'd be surprised if there weren't numerous Xbox ports being announced to begin next year

GT7 is a bumper car simulator and therefore doesn't make any racing game redundant.
