It’s been almost a year since the first and apparently this game is meant to be out in less than a year.
They need to start doing something. I’m still convinced it’s not coming until 2026.

There's no way this game is coming in 2025, my guess is Spring 2026 and that would be optimisitc.

No, they don't need TGS. In fact, GTA trailer would overshadow any and all other TGS announcements or trailers.

You guys still do not understand how Rockstar operates?
After five GTA games?
They do not release screenshots or trailers willy nilly.
They ramp up trailers and screenshots when the game is almost coming out, in the few months coming up to it.
See RDR2 trailers and GTAV trailers. Also their gameplay showcases.
Them not releasing a trailer is NOT indicative of when the game is coming out.

GTAV's first trailer was released almost two years before the game's release, and the 2nd trailer almost a year before release. And we got plenty on screenshots in 2011 and 2012. The game released in the end of 2013
Yes, there are more media released close to the release. But we saw a lot more of GTAV a year before release than we saw by now from GTAVI.
It is time to release the trailer or at least screenshots right now.

You still have to wait a whole year before the game is releasing.
If a trailer doesnt come thursday (its plausible), I would bet the trailer is coming in may.
GTA V was also delayed four months.
But you are right, they did share some more media in the meantime.

The usual ones on Twitter had their bets on December 1 for a announcement for the second trailer, since that was a year ago but clearly didn't happen. It easily could still be this month, I mean we're a year from release, probably less now, if it's indeed still planned for 2025.
It's kinda crazy how we went a full year without any artwork or screenshots. It feels like it's different from V and RDR2 that way, but I'm not sure. Ah well.

Been playing GTA since before Rockstar were even called Rockstar. I know how they work.
GTA V got a trailer November 2011. They went silent until July 2012 which was when we got 2 screenshots (helicopter over city and dude sitting at the park). They were quiet up to about November when we got 2nd trailer just over a year after the first.
That’s when things started rolling. The game was originally advertised as coming out Spring 2013. Pre orders and everything else went up. Game was delayed January 2013 to 17th September 2013.
So yeah we are due a trailer or at least a screenshot if this game is meant to be out 2025. They spent about a year marketing V so assuming the same is true then it’s starting to get a bit late for a 2025 release. My money is on early 2026.
Rockstar games usually have 2 years between reveal and release. V was October 2011 - September 2013. RDR2 was first teased October 2016 and launched October 2018.
VI could still come out late 2025 but we’re into December now with almost a year since the trailer. We might get something in the next few days but if we are into 2025 without anything then definitely gonna be 2026 unless they go for a short marketing campaign.

If it is a trailer (on the one year date) I can be they won't do it as a Premiere this time since that is how it leaked last time, unless YT has fixed the bug/exploit that was used.

If they don't show anything until February, I'd be even more skeptical that they will release the game by fall 2025.

I'd bet the latest we'll hear about it will be around the end of Take-Two’s fiscal year in March 2025. They delayed RDR2 5-6 months before the expected release in 2017, so realistically we can hear about it pretty late in the process.

There’s no way these are real. PS5 and Series X can’t push graphics that good. 2 looks fake as fuck. 3 looks like AI and 4 looks like photoshop.

I'm not a big fan of Rockstar gameplay wise, far from it, but doubting them graphically is wild when RDR2 not only exists but they even got it to run as relatively well as they did on last-gen hardware.

I didn't say I was doubting them or worried. I said the game looks good and I think it'll be one of the best looking games to ever release but the lighting in those images look too good. That's some heavy path tracing shit in a video game.
When V launched on PS3 it blew my mind. It had no right looking that good. Rockstar will push these consoles hard for sure. If V is anything to go by then VI will look even better than what it does in trailer 1.
