these numbers are at interlaced mode meaning native res will reduce performance further
I mean, c'mon, it's not 2059 where CPUs are advanced enough to deal with such a complex NPC systems. JFC, Capcom. There needs to be settings to switch all this shit off, reduce the amount of NPC, etc. etc.Capcom looking into PC issues...
Capcom Is 'Aware' of Dragon's Dogma 2 Frame Rate Issues on PC, Looking Into Fixes - IGN
In a statement to IGN, Capcom acknowledged possible frame rate issues with Dragon's Dogma 2 on PC, saying they may be linked to the heavy amount of CPU demanded from NPCs in the game.www.ign.com
Don't bitch out on us! Tell us these classics, hype it up lolRight up there with other classics that if I name someone is going to lose their mind over.
What CPU do you use?Despite the CPU issues in the cities the game's sense of discovery may be one of the longest I have ever experienced. Right up there with other classics that if I name someone is going to lose their mind over.
One weirdly nice thing is if you are like me and spend a ton of time NOT IN the city, the drops don't come up near as often. I found myself wilderness bound a huge amount of my gameplay time.
On the contrary, journos lowering scores because of performance, is piss poor critiquing and glosses over actual art and design. Performance varies on so many different levels and can be patched up easily and/or simply fixed by upgrading your hardware.Game runs like shit at launch and is getting 9/10s
This shit has to stop. I'm sure it's a great game but just ignoring performance issues and throwing around 9s like candy is why we games keep launching like this.
Excited to check your review once lunch time rolls around my dude.Despite the CPU issues in the cities the game's sense of discovery may be one of the longest I have ever experienced. Right up there with other classics that if I name someone is going to lose their mind over.

GoodGreat start!
I test on up to four. Super low to high. The lowest being the old 8700k and highest being a 13900k if available at the time. What CPU do you use?
I've stopped even looking at reviews any more. The amount of hyperbole is ridiculous - everything is the best thing ever, or the worst thing... Waste of my time.Game runs like shit at launch and is getting 9/10s

Yeah you need to be in a mindset to 'get' this game."You’ll be doing lots of backtracking and exploring on foot, as there’s very little in the way of convenient fast traveling."
God Im so sick of this shit. What year are we in? This is exactly what turned me off of the first game.
Firefox is using more CPU than this.wait for more benchmarks.
And that makes me happy. The game uses ray-Tracing for global illumination on PC, PS5 and XSX. Xbox Series S does not have ray-tracing. This setting does not affect shadows and reflections.- Ray-tracing cannot be disabled on PS5/XSX.
Told ya

It's pathetic, I'm genuinely convinced PC players don't actually play games they just get them for benchmarks to stroke their tiny dick egos that their 5000$ rig can run a game at 400fps but I guess they have to do something with their time in these threads now that most console games come to PC and they don't have to beg for them at every turn like they used to.Lots of PC talk for this great console game.
Pc bros can turn down settings to reach 60 frames, consoles bros can only play the bullet time version without any option.PC bros about to learn 30 fps is completely playable too after bitching so much about the unplayable 30fps console versions. You love to see it
There's no shortage of open world games that let you cut out travel using menus. DD does something different and tries to make travel meaningful."You’ll be doing lots of backtracking and exploring on foot, as there’s very little in the way of convenient fast traveling."
