I was one of the people that really shit on the game initially and I don't think I was necessary wrong back then. Many of its issues and omissions were stopping me from appreciating what was there. What can I say, they've fixed most problems, added tons of stuff (some of which should have been there in the first place) and really redeemed themselves. While not perfect, the game is great and I've finished it twice on both console and PC. I say sales deserved and I hope they learned their lesson for futurte releases.

I think that because they had to spend a few years fixing it the game wasn't as much of a commercial success as they had hoped.
The budget must have gone through the roof.
