Cyberpunk 2077 has sold over 30 million copies (Phantom Liberty sits at 8 million copies sold)

In less than four years since release we’ve already sold 30 million copies of Cyberpunk 2077, and as for Phantom Liberty – in just over a year it has sold over 8 million copies. These are impressive figures. I’m very happy to see a large, dedicated community coalesce around our Cyberpunk games. In the coming year the base game, along with its expansion, will be released to a new group of users: owners of Mac devices powered by Apple Silicon chips – announces Michał Nowakowski

Good for them. I wish the game was more polished tho. The AI traffic is terrible, and the game still have many bugs, like cars dissapearing in front of you and things like that. Its a good game tho, I dont think is a masterpiece of anything like that but its good

I was one of the people that really shit on the game initially and I don't think I was necessary wrong back then. Many of its issues and omissions were stopping me from appreciating what was there. What can I say, they've fixed most problems, added tons of stuff (some of which should have been there in the first place) and really redeemed themselves. While not perfect, the game is great and I've finished it twice on both console and PC. I say sales deserved and I hope they learned their lesson for futurte releases.

Pretty damn good for them but...whats up with people port begging for Pro? Is this a new a meme?
It's still one of the most impressive games on the market on PC and scales far, far above consoles. People who paid $700 for the premium console want to see it shine on it since, unlike many other games, it won't be just PSSR or an fps boost.

Deserved. Some people might be sour over the state the game released, which is perfectly understandable. But a vast majority of publishers would’ve just had the game get a few patches for performance and bugs, and then move on. CDPR did a bad thing, but they owned their fuck up, and stuck with the game for 3 years. It was a great comeback and it turned Cyberpunk into an incredible and unforgettable experience.

I am responsible for 2 of those copies on PS5 and PC, and I still haven't played the game.

It is a very very good game. It started rough but CDPR really upgraded it by the end of it. Also, the DLC was so good. The 30 mill sales is deserved.

It will reach, once you'll find CP2077 with expansion at 20 euro on sale....W3 reached those number because of big discounts
Something like that is what I'm waiting for, best price is around €50 for both. Will wait until €30 ish or lower.

On PC at max settings the game is an entire console generation ahead in terms of looks and visuals. Its one of the clear games that is head and shoulders better on PC in every way. Pro owners would like a little taste of that. But they need to understand that even though they paid a lot for their Premium Economy tickets, they still are not in first class.

That's not port begging, since there already is a PS5 port. It's asking Project Red to keep their games up to date to support a new consoles revision. Every fucking games company should be required to this. It's nonsense that we as paying customers even have to ask companies to do this.

Pretty sure it was a meme. Some folks on GAF claimed the game is losing sales cause CDPR is refusing releasing patch for Pro

Looking at the Steam hardware survey, most PC players are also sitting in economy. Some even bought stand only tickets.

More people should buy Phantom Liberty, it was really well done. It total, they really managed to turn the game around from launch to provide one cohesive experience and really hits the high mark they set with The Witcher series.

And this is why they will never learn.
I think they have learned. Just because it’s done well doesn’t mean they haven’t learned anything. The game was in a really bad state at one point but they stuck with it and turned it around. They made a lot of money off it at launch so they could’ve fucked off with the money and not gave a shit.

A lot of people still think it’s a bad game and are willing to give CDPR shit so their reputation is still damaged but those who have actually played it know that they put in serious work to improve it.

I bought it at launch on PC and it wasn’t terrible but after the 2.0 (?) patch and Phantom Liberty it is a much much much better game and one of my all time favourites.

They can’t afford to fuck up the next release which I think is Witcher 4.
