Love this game in general, but I really object to the cosmetic crap. Surely there's no cool factor to be gained from buying that stuff.
Because it’s awesome. Running around small maps shooting various ridiculous looking people never gets old. While dressed as Skeletor.

I can’t speak on Warzone - not my thing. Traditional COD isn’t a tactical shooter. Its like an over the top action movie where hero’s die 20 times per match.

Fun Factor. Bruce Willis Die Hard skin running around Rebirth shouting quotes from the movie, who wouldn't' want that?
 
Seeing people getting excited about paying exorbitant prices for dumb skins after Activision screwed MW2 players by releasing a cash grab of the highest order, only a year after mw2, is kinda the most depressing thing ever. Where's your self respect guys?

It's impractical too, it means the only way you can tell who's on your team is by the red/blue labels. I mean, that's hardly ideal for gameplay. At least turn that shit off in hardcore mode to prevent me accidentally shooting Skeletor when he turns out to be on my team this time.

I'm all out of the battlepass tokens and I've been having some health issues recently so don't always feel like playing. It's funny I can grind something like fortnite half the day and feel fine but something like cod messes with my hr/blood pressure a lot more so can't grind it like I used to

Have people not seen how much content gets dropped per season in this game? I'd much rather drop a 20 on a few skins here and there when the seasonal content delivers, rather than the old way of map packs or paid DLC. Its not just a skin you get for your money.

I dont see why its so hated. Its completely optional, if the content was shit then you can vote with your wallet.

Anyway, I hope you realise your money has been wasted there.

Having your own character chatter at you and nobody else must be like having one of those guys on your team who leaves his mic open and plays music or makes retard noises the entire time.

If I ever hear that, maybe it will all have been worth it. But I won't, because the only people who can hear it are the ones who paid to look like Bruce Willis. You'd have to put your mic against your TV speaker so everyone else can share the moment.

I don't understand why you think I'm wasting my money though. Sure, in the grand scheme of life I have much more important things to pay for then a COD skin. But brother, that would apply to every single dollar spent on videogame hardware, software, movies, cable, vacations, dinners out, ball games, beers with friends, etc, etc., etc.

I was just being facetious, in that people have spent good money to ensure that I get taunted by Lara Croft and half the cast of The Boys every time I get shot in the face, but I've never noticed a single soundbite. So that's a victory for me, albeit from beyond the grave.
 
I am out of town the next several days and my nephew is house sitting for us so if I dont reply to any questions in game its him playing (if he plays this which I asked him to start grinding new season when it launches)

I curious how CTF works in this game.. I don't think I've ever played CoD CTF but I've got a lot of hours in Quake CTF so I'm feeling good lol

The finisher is awesome though, but there should be 3 more kong packs incoming.
Also I noticed the same with the boys packs, the MW2 ones all have death effects + tracers, but the MW3 ones don't; the dune packs don't either so I figured they kinda stopped doing that, but then warhammer and walking dead did come with death effects....I dunno why they are so inconsistent now.

Yea the finishing move rules, hopefully the next kong packs have death effects not holding my breath though.

So much content in the last 2 season I'm starting to think that the art team, or whoever is responsible for the cosmetics, is actually bigger than the core dev team lol

I ended up refunding MWIII at launch. Thought I'd get into Warzone again but I didn't.

Decided to try Rebirth Island and the game actually seems fun again. Almost won the two matches I played.

The game probably gave me bot lobbies and I have no desire to start leveling weapons to be competitive again. I know loadouts are a fundamental part of the game, but a ground loot only mode could be interesting.

That said, I think I'll play some and see how it goes.
