That will be the start of Ubisofts downfall.Yeah that was DLC as well as additional sidequests you could do for Charles Dickens and Charles Darwin
Also the first Creed to include a trans character and this stunning and brave disclaimer
That's been at the front of most of their games. That will be the start of Ubisofts downfall.
AC3 combat was was much better than Origins and the rest. After seeing some videos i'm not sure about the combat.. looks very simple, never liked the old AC games combat, really only clicked with Origins and onwards.
Don't forget the overwhelming number of Female goons.Yeah that was DLC as well as additional sidequests you could do for Charles Dickens and Charles Darwin

Hate that. Was the same with Origins and Odyssey when they got patched. Very distracting. And of course the cloth physics are still locked at 30fps...

Damn, this looks fantastic on Series X.
I think cutscenes are prerendered videos.In-game looks great on PS5, but cutscenes look grainy as hell for me. The transition to and from gameplay is a bit stark.
I’m no expert but the picture is very crisp. Definitely 1440p or higher.Currently trying the PS5 version. Resolution looks the same as the PS4 Pro version, but at 60fps.
Does anyone know if the Series X patch bumps it to native 4K or close? Thinking of double dipping if that's the case, since it's on sale.

I bought it and it's certainly higher resolution on Xbox, and auto HDR is a nice bonus.I’m no expert but the picture is very crisp. Definitely 1440p or higher.

Try and match some screenshots with the PS5 version. They look clean but also a little soft (could just be AA but who knows).Sounds like it's the same deal then, retains checker-boarding on the PS5 from the PS4 Pro version and Xbox is native pixels.
edit: Ah fuck it, picking up the Gold version.
Getting a pretty good deal on it too.
Edit: I installed their shit stuff, it says I own Origins and Syndicate...?Your game is available through the free Ubisoft Connect Launcher on your PC.

Unity was the last AC game I played and really enjoyed it. I've had Syndicate for a while but never tried it, might make it my next open world ordeal barring any issues this patch may cause.
Some pics from the opening of the game. I haven't played this in years and forgot how long of an unskipable pre-rendered video is at the start sigh.
This game never got a One X version, which I guess could be a reason why the patch is basically downloading the entire re-compiled game on Xbox versus just a patch on the PS version.
it's still an Xbox One game tho right? or does it say Xbox Gen9 in the app infos? it would be crazy if they made a whole ass port just to give it this update
The Fileinfo shows Gen9Aware, so it's not a full-on new gen version, the tile on the dashboard also doesn't show the optimized for Series S|X button. But it looks something beyond than just an Xbox One version running cleaner.
Ah well.
Syndicate was one of the handfull of PS4 games which did not work on PS5 and had huge flicker problems. Why Syndicate? Surely everyone that was going to play this has done?

I don't think I heard about a patch for this problem, so it might be the first time to play it on a PS5 at all. I don't have the game, so others would have to say if there was a patch.
Is anyone able to compare PS5 to PS4 Pro to confirm if the resolution actually improved at all, or PS5 vs Series X? From the video I've seen, the PS5 version image quality seems pretty poor - a lot of shimmering and aliasing. It seems better in video on Series X, but it's hard to compare youtube videos.
It's a very random upgrade from Ubisoft, but as Syndicate is one of my prefered AC games I'm not complaining. I tried it last night in an old savefile and it really works great. I'm even thinking on replaying the game in the near future.
Now, why the update? Ubisoft trying to regain some good will after all their recent screw ups?
AC Shadows is being made by the same team that did Syndicate. I wonder if in their latest round of polishing Shadows for Feb release, one of the engineers figured something out and said "Y'know, it'd be really easy for me to go back and put this in Syndicate too."Is thiw totally random patch or what? Seems out of nowhere. Hope they keep patching other big AC titles too.
oi m8 u got a license for that patch??
Rockstar is the company that puts out the RDR remaster on last-gen. So, once PS6 hits the shelves, a few years later they will release a PS5 remaster of RDR2.
Where is my RDR2 patch?
Hell yes. I'd settle for a PS4 Pro patch at this point. Game has been stuck at 900p/1080p for a decade. I have a PS4 copy and have yet to play it.Black Flag
Series X because it supports VRR unlike the PS version. So which version is better at the end of the day? Base PS5 or Series X? I own both consoles and I'd love to go back to the game primarily to play it in 60fps.
Xbox version is better. According to DFSo which version is better at the end of the day? Base PS5 or Series X? I own both consoles and I'd love to go back to the game primarily to play it in 60fps.
