I would love a Naughty Dog new game announcement, but if they do that, so (following Sony's new approach for reveals), it will be really close to launch, what I doubt.

Finally getting that Mike Tyson's Punch Out sequel! I think it's called Mike Tyson's Chew Glove. You just bite your glove the whole match until you lose by decision.

Omg. Hide this idea from Hulst at all costs.

That’s fucking hilarious and I can totally see it happen.

Could be a much bigger reveal of Light No Fire. That has potential to be generation defining. Depends on how much further it goes compared to NMS of course, but given they have done a lot of the work on procgen environment side its not inconceivable they have redefined the RPG side to a similar extent. Although any reveal means its 2025 imho, and I'm not sure thats possible, but then again they are keeping the cards close to their chest on this one.

Bro not only did they give him a platform, he got a dedicated app for the trailer and some PR blurb for it, something no other developer has gotten (or requested maybe).
what...lots of devs get it, they gave him no platform, we made that platform ourselves because gamers are crazy and it was fun to think Kojima was still creative enough to pull something like this off.

Doesn't seem like Kojima is gonna do fun things anymore

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?

I have never seen any other game get an interactive app like Abandoned did on PS4/5, if I'm missing any, please let me know.

Man imagine.....

Geoff says hey here's someone presenting their new game, but doesn't say who
Gaben walks onto the stage nonchalantly
says hey check out this trailer for our new game
5 minute trailer of Half Life 3, releasing at midnight
trailer ends, Gaben refuses to elaborate, leaves
internet melts down

Yeah, that would truly be something special to witness in gaming, but instead what will really happen is...

Geoff says, "Wow what a night it has BEEN! But we have one more thing to show you before we go..."
Some corporate executive strides across stage in business casual attire selected to appeal to whatever demographic they are after.
Casual Corporate Executive reads corpo public relations speak off of a teleprompter for 3 minutes and yet says nothing.
5 minute montage of a once popular franchise, and then a remake no one asked for appears and releases in Q2 of 2029.
Casual Corporate Executive ad libs lame catch phrase from franchise as Geoff and random people (investors) take the stage, wave collectively as the camera pans out, and confetti drops.
Internet melts down.
