I miss the days of yore when people simply accepted that they couldn't afford something. Nowadays it feels like telling children that they can't have another kid's toy.

Most normal adults worry about their mortgages and being able to pay the bills. My Internet bills alone are like $1200 per year which makes $2000 for a 4-5 year lifetime GPU trivial by comparison. If you can't afford that then what the hell are you thinking spending $2000 on a GPU?

tbh, buying 5090 just to play GTA 6 at 4k at 60fps above is kinda sad.
