It has some Atelier-like elements but the game is still mostly a normal JRPG - or KRPG i guess.
They do, you just don't hear about them as often among the sea of ubisoft-likes and poor attempts at GAAS. Much like most people don't hear about this game.

Haven't played it specifically, but i did play a bunch of other asian games that weren't japanese. Plenty of good stuff out there.
Worth mentioning that devs did an AMA on reddit just a few hours ago. Also, if you're wondering why there's an Xbox One version but not an Xbox Series version as well, it's because the developers didn't have access to devkits. However, the game will be playable on both Series S and Series X via backward compatibility.

The digital version is out today (PS5 & Switch), but the physical version comes a bit later in October (I'm waiting on grabbing the physical as well).
