Very interested in seeing your full collection one day, if you will.

I am about to purchase some games from the PSN Black Friday sale that I've added to my wishlist on PS5. I am trying to finally choose how many of and which of the following games to buy on sale digitally.

Marvel's Midnight Suns Legendary Edition for PS5 - 19.99 (99.99)

Resident Evil 4 - $19.99 ($39.99)

NHL 25 - 34.99 (69.99)

System Shock - 17.99 (39.99)

Pacific Drive - 16.49 (29.99)

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed: Dressed to Skill Edition 16.49 (54.99)

Super Mega Baseball 4 - 4.99 (49.99)

Baldur's Gate 3 - 55.99 (69.99)

Math is hard and I suck at math and I hate math and math fucking LOATHES me but isn't that like $450 worth of games for around $190? I can't buy them all.

PS5 (Digital-Slim) from Argos and Astrobot on PSN. I didn't want to buy Astro as I do not play platformers but my son loved the pack-in Astro game so much that I had to get it for him. I am waiting for a sale on PS Portal.

Got this physical edition, and Midnight Suns Legendary Edition in PSN store, and bunch of Steam games.

And this one not technically gaming, but I guess remotely related to The Scorn. The game's art is very fascinating.

Thanks, my man! I'd love to do that, but at the place I'm currently staying I'm lacking shelving space, so part of my collection is stored in boxes. I'm hopefully moving to a new place next year though, so once that’s done, maybe I'll share pics of my entire game collection.

By the way, nice pickups! I loved Outer Wilds (I grabbed the physical version from Japan just last month, but I played it a couple of years ago during the pandemic and thoroughly enjoyed my time with it; I still have to play the DLC though). That H.R. Giger art book looks dope too. Enjoy!

Oh and I'm a fan of Alien as well and by extension H.R. Giger, so yeah, I had to get Scorn once they announced the physical version, since the art in that game is heavily inspired by Giger's works (got the deluxe physical last year though).

Picked up some PS5 stuff:
  • Dead Space $29.99
  • Gran Turismo 7 $29.99
  • MLB The Show 24 $19.99
  • Sonic Frontiers $18
I fully expect GT7 to get announced for PC in the next month because I finally bought it.

Sekiro £24.95 on Steam.

This Black Friday has been absolute dross in the UK.

Was good for the first year or 2 once we imported it from America. Actual great deals. Over the last 3 or 4 years the retailers have refined it so that only crap stuff goes on ‘sale’ from marked up prices (fire tablets, fire sticks etc).

You get better deals throughout the year (Costco had a 65 inch mini-led TV on offer for £799 last month - BF price is £849…)

This morning I just grabbed Silent Hill 2 for $30 off Amazon, and Eleven Table Tennis Quest 3 for $17.99( normally $29.99). There's nothing else I'm really all that interested in, not at the prices I'm seeing. I wasn't necessarily in the market for SH2 right now, but $30 is the most no-brainer deal I've seen and I'm not worried about it getting cheaper anytime soon.

Total war Warhammer trilogy and Dyson Sphere Program.

Didn't see anything else that's compelling enough or cheap enough.

Seems like Black Friday is only getting worse as the years go by.

The only thing I bought on Black Friday was some Noctua thermal paste, and it wasn't even on sale
I needed it anyway though so the timing was just coincidental

I got myself an early Christmas present: I found a good deal on a used Meta Quest 3 with accessories (400€). Should be delivered sometime next week.

As a consequence I got some PCVR games (around ~150€):
Half Life Alyx
SUPERHOT VR
Myst
Riven
Arizona Sunshine® Remake
Arizona Sunshine® 2
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR
Assetto Corsa
STAR WARS™: Squadrons
Killing Floor: Incursion
Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin
Elite: Dangerous
Spice&Wolf VR2
Batman™: Arkham VR
DOOM VFR

Some normal games (around ~50€):
Armored Core 6
Tactical Breach Wizard
Felvidek
Severed Steel

I wanted to play a couple of JRPGs in December, but at this point I think I will mess around with PCVR. Hope I don't get too nauseous.

For the first time in a while, I didn't buy anything. Unless you count a new headset and SSD for my son for Christmas. I'm not going to buy stuff that I don't have time to play.

Cheeks Spread for Digital Only Future
Ikaruga
Terminator Resistance
Cuphead
Edit:
Hardware wise I got some 14 pin ribbon cables and a connector to make an old ipad based streaming device with a dismantled kishi controller.

So far the only game I bought this weekend was New Arc Line. It's in Early access, finished it in about 15 hours. It was pretty good. It's definitely EA, so the performance wasn't great and some of the crafting screens were missing parts on my ultrawide monitor, but overall not bad.

I picked up Cyberpunk 2077 ultimate on Series X. That's the only thing so far. Temped to get BG3 but no way I have time to play that with PoE 2 dropping soon.

Grabbed a pair of these from Best Buy for $129.99 each. Huge upgrade over my mismatched pair I was using before.

Haven't grabbed any games yet, but might go back to Best Buy to snag Prince of Persia Lost Crown for $19.99.

Resident Crybaby
  • Lenovo Legion Go - Amazon ($473)
  • Mass Effect Legendary Edition - Steam ($4.79)
  • Mass Effect Andromeda Deluxe Edition - Steam ($4.79)
  • Psychonauts 2 - Steam ($5.99)
  • Europa - Steam ($11.99)
  • Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy The Definitive Edition - Steam ($23.99)
  • Thank Goodness You're Here! - Steam ($15.99)
  • Neva - Steam ($13.59)

Wasn't planning on getting the Legion Go, but extremely happy I did. I'm not even using it primarily for local play, but instead I'm using Sunshine/Moonlight to stream my games from my Ryzen 9800X3D/RTX 4090 rig. Flawless image quality and absolutely zero perceivable latency at 2560x1600/144hz on the Legion Go's huge 8.8" screen. Just an amazing, unparalleled handheld experience. It's a dream to use.

Outlast trials for $25 for the deluxe edition.

Been meaning to try this. Buddy and his girlfriend got it too so we can play tonight. Tried to convince my wife but she told me to eat a dick.

:(

For me since I recently got a Switch. I got the Tomb Raider Trilogy, Super Mario RPG, and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. I went so hard on Mario Odyssey when I got my switch over the summer and I heard about Bowser's Fury. I am ready to run around do my thing in that game. Also glad I can final play tomb raider and super Mario RPG. Heard nothing but good things about those games over the years. Ready to get immersed and learn about those games development history as play through them.
