If we discount f2p games (aka Counter Strike), Helldivers 2 has only dropped to the #2 spot on Dragon's Dogma 2's release week. This game has got to be closing in to 15M total copies at the moment.

Helldivers 2 still being the top paid game after all these weeks is incredible. If I recall right, it only briefly lost that position to Dragon’s Dogma 2 for a few days and has otherwise been #1 paid since its launch

It's very successful, but the 25M reported was players. 15M sales from Steam and 10M players from Xbox (inc. Gamepass), they didn't share sales from Xbox.
