Resident Evil lovers will be lucky, seeing that Separate Ways is the perfect icing on the cake that Resident Evil 4 Remake needed. Completing the DLC can easily take 4-5 hours, which is not bad at all if we take into account that it costs €9.99 and the base game can easily be finished in 17-20 hours. Without a doubt, an essential DLC for every fan of the saga as well as anyone who wants to delve deeper into the history of Resident Evil 4. As a note, mention that in order to play Separate Ways you will need to be able to play the base game.

I’m just as shocked as you are that Separate Ways ended up being great, but when you really think about it, there was no other realistic outcome. The Resident Evil 4 remake is so good that Capcom really could have rested on its laurels and developed a cheap DLC that would have been fine at worst, but they put the work in.
GGRecon - Kiera Mills - 4.5 / 5
The Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways DLC is a polished piece of fan service that delivers the promise of the original DLC, and more.
IGN - Brendan Graeber - 9 / 10
Separate Ways is a worthy counterpart to Resident Evil 4's fantastic story, providing an excellent remix of both new and familiar locations, and its breakneck pace of pitting you against excellent adversaries never leaves room for a dull moment.
IGN Italy - Alessandra Borgonovo - Italian - 9 / 10
An excellent DLC, which takes the original content and reworks it for greater overall cohesion, embellishing everything with mechanics tailored for Ada.
Metro GameCentral - GameCentral - 9 / 10
A very welcome slice of DLC that is just as enjoyable as the main game and helps flesh out a fan favourite character with their own unique abilities and agenda.
The Outerhaven Productions - Karl Smart - 4.5 / 5
Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways should be shown to all developers as to how to do DLC going forward. Not only do we get a great campaign that almost rivals the main game, but it’s done at a cheap/affordable price point. The story of Ada gives us some more questions as to what is going on with the future of the Resident Evil remake franchise while keeping its own story relevant and interesting.
