Void Interactive, the developers behind Ready or Not, has been the victim of a massive data breach with over 4TB of data stolen. This includes over 2.1 million files in total.
The ransom group, which Insider Gaming has decided against mentioning the name of, announced in March that it had access to the data. Since then, however, Void Interactive has not mentioned any sort of breach or concern regarding Ready or Not. As far as the legitimacy of the hack, Insider Gaming has been shown the contents of the files taken under the condition they aren’t republished. This data includes all of the Ready or Not source code. It also includes code for what appears to be console builds of the game as well as results of various performance tests. Insider Gaming was shown images of the game running on a PlayStation 4 test kid with the builds taken from the breach.
There was also build data for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 included.
