You had a whole mission spray painting about racism meanwhile we got a single mission as venom. Ragnarok killed my interest in cinematic games and it took my BF playing SM 2 to make me interested enough to see the story lol.

The BLM thing in the end made them look stupid imo. All the corruption started coming out around when the game released. But yea, that was stupid too. I think I blocked that out of my memory.

Regarding SM2: That's because for an entire act in a 3 act game, you had the option to play as peter wearing the symbiote suit. Peter can't go around punching himself. I don't remember anything 'woke' forced on anyone in that game.

Ragnarok: What was woke/SBI in that game? Was it the little black girl? Did we also have issues with the blue frost gians, or the multicolours elves, or Surtr made of wood or whatever that was?

What I'm getting from your post is you assumed Spider-Man 2 was full on 'woke' and you ignored it, and only after seeing someone playing it and seeing the the web shooters didn't shoot out pride flag coloured web fluid did you decide to give it a try.

Also I got an impression that they really wanted to kill Kratos on Ragnarok but changed their decision on the last minute.

How would that be bad or woke? They killed Kratos at the end of God of War 3.
Also, Ragnarok has a whole post final fight section where you play as Kratos. So if they did change their mind about killing him, it wasn't last minute.

All these games have a lot in common: terrible, sometimes unbearable plot and unbearable characters.

Even Alan Wake 2. Saga Anderson is one of the most boring characters I've ever seen in a games, and the story is a convoluted mess with no logical conclusion.

Ragnarok is a complete circus with a story about pacifism and changing yourself for the "better" in a harsh dying world where f-ing Ragnarok is happening. Atreus in Ragnarok is of the most unbearable characters ever. Not only in gaming. Ever.

Spider Man 2's plot is just a torture to follow - with this Mary Jane symbiont's rant about how Peter treats her bad and ending monolue about "creating a new norm".

There is not a single game with a good plot on this list.

So I can really say. SBI ruins games! At least their stories. This list proves it.

Going off how low the criteria is, then that means the classic Saints Row games are also Woke as you can have optional same sex relationships as well as do sex changes.

That list is insane though dude lol. I'm as anti woke as they come, and that list has FFVII, Deux Ex Human Revolution, The Witcher 3, Shovel Knight, and Elden Ring all listed as "woke." Look I want this stuff out of games too, but if just having representation of homosexuals and the ability to switch genders in a game makes it "woke", then I think we're starting to lose the script here.

Games that shove it down your throat are annoying because they insult your intelligence and treat the narrative with the respect for intelligence that an after school special offers, but merely having a diverse cast and homosexual characters doesn't bother me at all, and I imagine it doesn't bother most people. It's the hamfisted messaging that needs to go, not necessarily the representation.

You forgot MJ oneshotting the toughest enemies in the game when Miles and Peter have a hard time taking them on. And then Peter basically retiring from being Spiderman to clean more dishes around the house, presumably because MJ blew up and gave him the "I'm not your maid" speech.

I completely agree. But here we are, in the year of our lord 2024, getting mad because a game uses Body Type labels in character creation.
