Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will NOT have Denuvo

Didn't see a thread made for this anywhere. It was confirmed in a live stream that KCD 2 won't have DRM of any kind.

Also if you want to check out, a minute or 2 before this they also said they are very confident about the technical state of the game especially on PC, as they've taken to heart the feedback they got with the launch of the original game.

I approve this studio's approach. Although I would have bought their game anyway, I'm really looking forward to it. But for not wanting to create problems for people out of the blue, a plus to karma.

I predict over a 90,000 CCU
If it does less than the first one you can say that its the first single player sequel to have the most CCU of all the games Warhorse has done... Also don't forget to pay for the term "Return to form" while you're at it :messenger_tears_of_joy:

In all seriousness this is good news, last thing the game need is some tacked on bottlenecking. And yeah, sequel def. has a cult following eager for its release.

Game looks awesome. Cutscenes looks so much better, sound design is on point, animations are much better. Also lol at the dialogue from 27:50. This is the kind of writing i need :D

I can already see some reviewers are REEEEing because of this games writing

It's great it doesn't have Denuvo, but I don't understand the guys attitude. It's not like this "confusion" has been started because some random twitter user said something, but because your publisher screwed up. It falls then either on to you, or the publisher, to clarify that.

Leaving the fans in the dark and then wondering why they won't stop asking is on a level beyond retardation. I understand there might be some publisher politics involved which then might've stopped them from clarifying earlier, BUT THEN JUST SAY THAT instead of going "hurr why you listen to fake newz??"

Yeah...why they just didnt clarify it the day the news went viral or even a day later is a bit strange. Could be the case that it was indeed planned but after seeing the "feedback" decided it would more hurt than help.

They changed their minds within a month. GoG as well then?
If you ask me, I see absolutely no reason why anyone wouldnt sell it on gog, if you decide to release on steam without denuvo. There is basically zero difference. Some say there is still steam DRM, but we all know what this means.

I love slav naturalistic writing, CDP and Warhorse have best writers in the industry tbh.

The original rumor came from some plaion support guy who was likely just confused. Warhorse never said there would be Denuvo.

FINE. Royal Edition get.
Perfect choice! But its huge with all the DLC's...be prepared! :messenger_winking:

I also would recommend a few tweaks, if you like it a bit more convenient:
- you have no crosshair when you shoot with yr bow (you can change that via console)
- if you want to save, you need to buy or find or cook "Schnaps"...I have to say I really liked the alchemy stuff in it, but if you want to be on the safe side, there are mods which let you save yr game anytime without "Schnaps"
- and if you are not a fan of weight restrictions, there are mods as well

Enjoy!

Is the DLC separate from the main game or will you naturally stumble upon these quests/content during the main story?

Is Nexus Mod the best place to grab some of these mods you mention or?

All natural! Its recommended to do the "womans lot" when you finished the story or shorthly before the end as you play as someone else and have a different view on certain story parts.
Mods...yep Nexus!
