Also, we’ve passed laws and rigged the system so that third parties never stand a chance and any candidate of the two party duopoly has to be approved of by the wealthy special interest and business groups that fund their campaigns and advertise on the mainstream media, allowing them to influence who gets exposure and who doesn’t. Sounds like Democracy to me!

Oh, and got attacked by my father in laws nephew, was called 'Anti Woke' and I never brought up anything woke, at all. I just said people might be better off. Absolutely nothing to do with gender, ideology, anything!

It was just one of those things in life where one side swung so much their way it’s natural for it to swing back hard the other way.
Too much, too fast.
Whether it’s work, voting or home life trying to win going hard one way is bound to be reverse fast or shut down.
The best way to get long term the way you want is small changes where people don’t really notice or care. So it becomes a norm that is digestible.
Think of it like a kid playing Roblox. I’m no parent but I think if a kid asked for $10 Roblox bucks here and there parents might say ya. But if the kid swung hard asking for $500 mom and dad will bang his head against the wall. Baby steps.

Certainly the easy answer is Dem men didn't show up to vote for a woman. I don't think that is a correct analysis but wouldn't be surprised to see the DNC shelve a female candidate for a few cycles. Trump beat Hillary, probably the most savvy and competent female politician of the era (regardless of whether you agree with her, she was a GREAT politician) and he beat Kamala, probably the LEAST competent female politician of her era. So I'm not sure the female part is relevant as Biden in 2020 ran a lot more like Kamala in terms of appearances and energy versus Hillary. So where did that 12 million voter bump come from? Was it covid? The influence of twitter? I'll not mention the tin foil hat theory.

There will DEFINITELY be "What If" history books about hanging chads (2000 election for ya'll too young to know) or a puff of wind and how that could have changed history. They are fun to read when enough time has passed to allow for objectivity, proper framing on events, and often a simplification of the role individuals play in history. I feel like we are living through a time that will be oft discussed in the centuries to come, if only for the digital age/AI, but the military/political stuff should be significant enough to persist as well. Enjoy seeing history being made!!!

BUT, like anything life what do you do next time to change it up? Still going to stubbornly stick to the current ideology? Or the people or organization change it up next time.
Even last night panelists were saying this actually gives the losing side a clear view of failure. So it’s now good to start a clean slate. But it’s up to them what they still do with it.
A bad situation is the barely lose. That would tempt them to keep up their antics with small adjustments instead of a mass overhaul.
Like a sports team in the dumps, sometimes it better to nuke it and rebuild the team grassroots style.
