Games Workshop has their own goals and so does Amazon. Everyone has their own biases too. Creative differences happen all the time when making movies and shows. They can easily be opinionated on the types of content that gets made and limiting/too-controlling. Like any other project both sides are likely going to make compromises to come into an agreement

I thought you might mean The Rosie Project. That was from 2021. Pretty sure nothing more has been updated about it. I took an interest as I've met Graeme Simsion a couple of times. Lovely chap. Would have been nice to see it made, but it stalled a while back.

You're right that GW have their own goals, but the issues with the current situation are coming from Amazon, in terms of how the adaptation is meant to move forward. That's why I think it's good news Henry is agreeing to work with them on other projects. Speaks to a good working relationship that should result in an announcement pretty soon - fingers crossed.

I remember liking Voltron back when I was a kid, but I don't think it was ever properly broadcasted (not to any of the channel's I had access to) in my country. Instead we'd watch it by renting VHS tapes from the local store.

So, I only remember two episodes prominently. One is the origins story, where they tamed(?) the robot lions (and something about using rings to do it?) and the other was where apparently Voltron got destroyed and everyone seemingly died while drifting in space. I am quite sure they somehow recovered in the next episode, but I don't think I've ever watched that one.

This movie has been rumored for about 20 years, I feel. I hope it's good. I loved Voltron as a kid. Hell, as an adult, I bought the DVD sets. Lion Voltron of course not that silly vehicle shit.

That Netflix animated show wasn't awful. Please be good.
