I made an excel file of all the monsters' elemental strengths/weaknesses based off the wikia info. Not sure how to upload it here for everyone though....

Does the monster variety pick up at any point? I'm only in chapter 3 and the game's starting to feel way more grindy then generations given that you're killing the same few monsters over and over.
Anyone playing Rage Burst on Vita? What's the quality like on that?
I haven't had any issues; at least ones exclusive to the Vita. (really hope they are able to patch the audio quality)
Probably not, the game's already at the upper threshold of Vita file size, a patch with uncompressed audio would be *massive*.I haven't had any issues; at least ones exclusive to the Vita. (really hope they are able to patch the audio quality)
What're those issues?
I picked this up on PC and decided to start Resurrection first. I'm fumbling my way through slowly but after the first mission of chapter 3 I think I might be done. I'm fighting this Chimaera type thing that is just running around super fast and I can barely get a hit in before it takes off again. The movement speed just feels so slow and sluggish. Even if I lock on it just doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm just not moving fast enough to get any hits in on the thing. It's taking me 12+ minutes to kill it. I might start the second one to see if the movement feels any better.
Is online dependent on your progress through SP story mode the entire time or just up to a certain point? I didn't want to have to keep going back to SP to unlock more missions for online.
So now that I (sort of) got over my bitterness about the price increase, here's the CaC voices I've been able to deduce so far starting with the guys.
Voice 1: Bryce Papenbrook (Eren in Attack on Titan)
Voice 2: Josh Grelle (Armin in Attack on Titan)
Voice 5: Jamieson Price (Lu Bu in Dynasty Warriors, Iron Tager in Blazblue)
Voice 7: Colleen Clinkenbeard (Gohan in Dragon Ball Z kai)
Voice 8: Sam Riegel (Phoenix Wright)
Voice 9: David Vincent (Robin in Fire Emblem Awakening)
Voice 10: Joe J Thomas (Shuji Niekawa in Durarara)
Voice 11: Christian La Monte (Only VA role that I could find is Cornelius Kaka from Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt: December Sky)
Voice 12: Michael McConnohie (Seth in Street Fighter 4)
Voice 14: Keith Silverstein (Zhuge Dan and Pange De in Dynasty Warrios 7 onwards)
Voice 15: Michael Sinterniklaas (Gwin in Xenoblade X)
Voice 16: Kyle McCarley (Mikazuki in Iron Blooded Orphans)
Voice 17: Lucien Dodge (Blue from Pokemon Origins)
Voice 18: Grant George (Shinjiro in Persona 3)
Voice 19: Dave B. Mitchell (Liu Bei and Guan Yu in Dynasty Warriors 7 onwards)
Voice 20: Mike McFarland (Charlie Nash in Street FIghter V)
Robbie Daymond (Lenka in the God Eater anime) is a custom voice but I don't know which one is him. Similarly Chris Cason (Gluttony in FullMetal Alchemist) has confirmed his presence in the game, most likely as a CaC given he has not stated who he played.
And for the FeMC
Voice 2: Alexis Tipton (Hope from Xenoblade X)
Voice 3: Monica Rial (Bulma in Dragon Ball Z Kai)
Voice 4: Heather Hogan (Viola in Soul Caliber 5)
Voice 5: Erica Lindbeck (Voice 11 in God Eater Resurrection)
Voice 7: Sandy Rojas (She was apparently in Resurrection as one of the CaC voices. If she responds to my tweet about which voice she played, I'll update that list as well with her role)
Voice 9: Philece Sampler (Taokaka in Blazblue)
Voice 12: Julie Ann Taylor (Kokonoe from Blazblue)
Voice 14 and 19: Erica Mendez (Gon in Hunter X Hunter, Ryoko in Kill La Kill)
Voice 15: Minae Noji (Milla Maxwell in Tales of Xillia)
Voice 16: Melissa Fahn (Neptune from Neptunia)
Voice 17: Kate Higgins (Lissa from Fire Emblem Awakening)
Voice 18: Abby Trott (Voice 15 in God Eater Resurrection)
Voice 20: Janice Kawaye (Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot)
Couldn't figure that many voices right now but I'll update it as more VA's confirm their roles or find other ways of figuring out the other CaC voices.
So I see gamebreaking bullet recipes are still a thing. Holy shiii

First of all, a silly question: are you using the sprint? You need to hold the R button to dash to keep up with faster enemies like the Vajra. Just watch your stamina. A lot of the time, it is often better to let the enemy come to you. Keep your guard up and counter-attack after the Vajra pounces. A quick dash-step into an attack is a good way to close short distances. If you see the Vajra gathering electrical orbs in front of itself, that is a good chance to close in and strike. Like all good hunting games, getting good at God Eater involves learning how to anticipate the movements and attacks of your prey.I picked this up on PC and decided to start Resurrection first. The Short Blade is the air combo specialist among the melee weapons, being the only weapon in Rage Burst that allows you to Air Dash. It's Rising Edge attack also lets you transition from a ground combo straight into an air combo.Do any of the weapons in this game have good air combos? I've pretty much stuck exclusively to spears up to this point, but their air combo is only 4 hits at the absolute max, and that's with getting good at controlling spacing of the charge glide. I'm open to picking a different weapon to use on the air monster quests though.
Have to say it looks really nice on vita, drop rates from missions are a bit of a pain in the ass. I need a type of steel and on the hard missions it has a sub ~10% drop rate as a reward.

It adds a couple of costumes to purchase at the vending machine. :bAnyone know what the collab dlc patch did on vita? Did they forget to include something?
Just downloaded and installed.
I'm so lost in this game. I fought my first Psion and it took like twelve minutes.
What the hell are blood arts? How do I make good bullets? Why can I only equip one of my blood arts? Why do my bullets pass through enemies sometimes? What the hell is a control unit? Do I use personal abilities for my crew? What should I be crafting? What skills do I install?
I feel like this game didn't explain this stuff very carefully. x_x
What type of weapons are you using? It is easier to craft better bullets later as you unlock more bullet options. I recommend sticking with the basic ones for now with default bullets and some form of bomb type bullet.
There are 5 types of physical damage in the game. Melee Slash/Blunt/Pierce and Gun Blunt/Pierce. Each aragami has different weaknesses to each of these as well as elemental weakness. To get the best bang for your buck you want to hit them with matching weaknesses.
Being in Burst will increase your damage. It is worth trying to maintain your burst meter by devouring living enemies. You can do quick devours with RB+Y during a combo to give you half a meter and 1 aragami bullet or do the charged Y devour for a full meter and 3 aragami bullets.
The aragami bullet will generally be an attack similar to what the monster you devoured from can do. Since it is rare for the monster to be weak to the element it uses it often isn't worth firing it back at them. You can fire it at something else or transfer it to an ally RB+Y (gunmode) and your ally will get a burst.
Bloodarts are basically powerups that alters certain attacks. You can only pick 1 bloodart but they become quite powerful so it is probably a bit more balanced this way.
Control unit is just an accessory type equipment. Same for upgrades/
For skill it really depends. I usually go for the offensive stuff. Take note that skills with the big B next it only activates when you're in burst mode. Some skills also don't activate until you have 10 points in it from all your equipment.
I use a charge spear. Early on I took charge speed, melee attack, oracle build up and stamina regen.
The game's database in the terminal pretty much constantly being updated with info as it introduces new things. It is worth giving it some time to better understand some of the skills and statuses. The videos on weapons is pretty thorough and will help you understand what command each attack in the bloodarts page is.
Read mission descriptions and if it doesn't tell you what you need then go into the database and look for what you're fighting under aragami so you can pick the right weapons/use the right element bullets.
This is all super helpful, thank you! I'm using the Short Blade/Blast Cannon or whatever it's called. I don't know what I did wrong with the bullet I crafted, but the reason my first Psion took so long is that my bullets I crafted just passed through her, and the default ones I had only did like 6 damage.
I'll try reading the index, but I admit I'm the type who prefers a more detailed tutorial. That's probably just me being used to western games, though. I'll try and adapt!

Thanks! Great to have on the phone.
What Vita users can't chat?
Thanks! Really couldn't find how to anywhere. :bYou can. Use the touch screen and scroll up from the bottom part.
Anyone know what's a good burst gun tree (as in start - upgrades)? I have settled in on my melee weapons, but don't know which burst rifle I want to spend the most time farming for....Right now I'm using the feeder cannon, but switch to the Kongou (shotgun) every now and then.
By English, do you mean US? If so, it should. Bandai-Namco is oneof the few publisher who had their digital content reg frwe through I don't know if this still holds true as of now or not.Hello everyone, I have a quick question.
I have God eater 2 English physical on ps4. In addition, I am being gifted an Region 3 asian physical vita version. Will cross save work between them?
Do people prefer the story in GE2RB? or GER?
Yes they do but it depending on which part. Kongou for example, have its tail weak to slash, hind legs weak to pierce, and head weak to crush. Sometimes they tell you about this in the mission description but for most part you have to look it up online or experiment it on your own.How many chapters/difficulty are there in the main story?
I'm currently at difficulty 3 and just encountered a Garm for the first time.
Edit:
Also, I'm familiar with Aragami having elemental weaknesses but do they also have certain physical weakness? Like being vulnerable to blunt damage etc ?
