Oh for sure, but even in general, for us guys its all simple, and i will use metaphor here, that all/most of us know and heard it at least once- when u wanna catch a fish u dont ask fish on how to do it, u ask experienced fisherman :)
Yes, the actual most desirable traits in men have little to do with the things in the poll. Rather it’s: money, status, fitness, confidence, leadership, height, education, and willingness to share resources.

If you’re a man and you’re worried about what women think you’re a moron.

Once again, a guy like Henry Cavill loves Warhammer, Video Games, building PCs… and all women gush over him. If I was a betting man, I’d bet at least half of women would drop the guy they’re with on the spot if they had a shot with him.

So it’s not his hobbies that are the problem is it?

You can’t negotiate attraction (such as if only I stopped playing Video Games, women would consider me hot).

Doesn’t work like that and never will. Stop rationalizing this stuff because it’s just BS.

I had a friend that married to a women that approved of his videogames habits.
She would rather have him at home playing videogames, than him going to the bar.

I loved The Producers musical, and liked ABBA, Chicago, and a few others. Don’t ban me, I will change! 😂
Banned! Kidding!

The Producers is a Mel Brooks affair, who could hate that? First time I ever saw Chicago was when my local community theater put it on in the summer of 1994. Watched the movie when it came out. Just couldn’t get into it, though it does have one of my favorite pieces in it (Mister Cellophane).

I grew up with older parents so Irving Berlin and Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals were always being played around my house.

Guess it’s fitting that I ended up living in

Pro tip: what women SAY they are attracted to (or turned off by) is completely fucking irrelevant.
Watch what they actually react to and you'll quickly start to notice a pattern where they aren't even just lying to you but to themselves, too.

Let's walk back the other recent thread about gaming being the least attractive hobby for men. Here's some data.

Only 61.8% of women polled in the study viewed gaming as unattractive, better than every other vice.

And considering virtually all men drink, watch TV, smoke, watch porn, gamble, argue online, and think women are irrational, gaming being in the mix doesn't seem like too much of a problem!

Now, looking at the flip side of the positive attractiveness responses:

FVayihm.jpeg

Video games are rated more attractive than watching TV.

Note: the polling was not a random population sample, and skewed toward highly educated, high status white women.

"Our sample was a convenience sample of 814 participants (48% female). Consistently in the samples that we run we see a pretty even split for politics and feminist ideology, so we don’t expect much political ideological bias. However, our samples skew disproportionately toward women of high social status, high level of education (45% had a Master’s degree in the previous survey), and who are predominately White (> 90% in the last survey). Popular hobbies like “clubbing,” which was rated low in our sample, may be perceived as more attractive in other populations."
The data is a little strange with what it's using as a hobby, as a vice I kind of understand but to me it's hard not to sway that opinion in the most extreme scenarios, a woman thinking of a crack head vs a guy who plays games is obviously gonna prefer the games.

I promise you If compare the hobbies to playing an instrument (preferably a guitar), competitive sport, riding a motorcycle etc. Gaming would be suuuuuuper low.

Those hobbies are listed separately from consumption hobbies in the stats. You can see the full breakdown at the link. And yes, hobbies involving real world skills win out.

If you have a BBC...all will be ok!

Big Black Console? You say women would love my Steam Deck?

No, fool. The Xbox Series X, obviously. Tiny white PlayStation need not apply.

When she sees your Series S:

Yup! just tell them if they act right, they will get to play with your BBC...wasn't a lie right?

U guys laughing at the term manosphere but probably dont realise feminism and all kinds of men-hating movements/mentality got ingrained super deep into mainstream nowadays.
Just look at this shit:

Manosphere degrades and disrespect men just as much as it does women. Its proponents are clowns and every other day calling some group of men cucks or sous or blah blah blah, regardless of your issues with "feminism"

But wait, I thought some plain ass broad said otherwise?!

The charts that the boss posted were the top unattractive vice hobbies (top chart where video games are ranked bottom) and then the second chart is consumer hobbies only.

If we look at a chart for overall hobbies from the same study, video games doesn't get a look in. Archery and hiking make women froth between the legs more than video games.

What's clear from the study is that women really, really like men who read. It comes out on top every single time.

If we look at the unattractive "nerd" hobbies, video games don't do so well here. According to this study, women find men who are into stamp collecting more sexy than men who play video games.

Women say they think reading is attractive, so they don't see so vapid.

Everybody can see through their bullshit.

. And yes, hobbies involving real world skills win out.

I found this paragraph in the study interesting:

Consistently across these results, women mostly don’t like hobbies that are vices and antisocial behaviors. Women do like hobbies that showcase physical and practical skills, humor, and intelligence. Entirely expected from an evolutionary perspective. Some hobbies are beneficial to you and others, while some hobbies are mostly cost-inflicting

I was actually looking over this study with my wife and she pretty much agreed with it. Although she doesn't find video games unattractive, what really gets her going is a man who is intelligent and physically active, with knowing how to cook as a bonus.

I'm actually not surprised reading comes out on top. I haven't met a woman yet who doesn't find men who read attractive. It reminds me of the famous John Waters quote:

Video games are rated more attractive than watching TV.
I am genuinely curious why is Movies twice as attractive as watching TV, and on par with concerts and theater.
I guess it's primarily seen as outdoors activity and people fail to notice the men who spend 10s of thousands on the Movie cave at home? 🤷‍♀️
Like - my brother has a home-theater the size of an apartment at home...

I would for the life of me get into all the worst shit so I know that at the end whoever picks me is actually a saint and tolerant. Then I do a switch on her and reveal to her that I'm the perfect man who read, cooks and does archery.

My wife hates gaming, and she doesn't really like it when I play games, but she understands why I love them and need to play them.
