I'd like to ask you, YES YOU, which games do you want available digitally on Storefronts, which are not available at this moment?

Now ofcourse there are many titles, for me personally big ones are for instance No One Lives Forever 1/2, and Aliens vs Predator 2001.

There are also big ones though. Why for instance is there NO pc port of Fable 2?
They did make a PC port of Fable 3, but you cannot play it on Gamepass (maybe with the cloud, yes), nor can you buy it on Steam.

But with the new Fable releasing sometime next year, you would imagine it would be beneficial to build up a consumer base who can play the previous games.
That seems like a logical decision no?

What's the deal with big publishers leaving their PC offerings on the table? Like EA had that newer Syndicate game.
I know Syndicate didn't set the world on fire, but you cannot buy/play it anywhere legally.

Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise, an amazing follow up to a underrated game, is also not available on PC (except with Cloud gaming where you play the shitty 360 version).

Another amazing game are the Lord of the Rings : Battle for Middle Earth RTS games.

I recently realized Lord of the Rings: War in the North was delisted on Steam. I was lucky to have it in my library but if you haven't bought it years ago, you can't longer buy it without having to look up some second hand keys

The other example is Raven's Software Wolfenstein released in 2009. It was also delisted from sale. One would think that considering Microsoft owns id, Activision and Raven, it could come back to sale, but nope

No One Lives Forever 1 and 2 have been available at http://nolfrevival.tk/ since 2016, and Unreal Gold can be downloaded at https://www.oldunreal.com/.

The site hosting Unreal and Unreal Tournament is doing so with Epic's blessing, but the one hosting NOLF is in a bit of a legal gray area - the rights to the IP are split up between multiple different companies and the situation is so complicated that none of them have ever bothered to issue a takedown notice or make the game available legally in all those years. At this point it seems like a safe bet that that won't change anytime soon, so download away.

I've got a physical copy, but The Last Remnant.

In an absolute dick move, Square Enix delisted the PC version to stop it competing with the remastered edition on the PS4. It's never been put back up for sale again.

I don't even remember if that game was particularly great (probably not), but I have very fond memories of it. Only recently learned that apparently the Shift UP CEO (Nikke, Stellar Blade) did character designs or something for that. Ironically this Korean game was my re-introduction to modern JRPGs.

I'd bet some some manager at EA already looked at it and decided that ROI for re-licensing and then re-releasing the games is simply not worth it.

The sequel came out, but why? Why would you port the second game when the first isn't even available.

I don't want to deal with cracks, images, noCD patches and user patches. When I read through the install & play guides, I'm already fed up with all the nonsense.

It's not that it's not feasible, it's that I just want to buy, download and play the games

Neither of the game needs to be installed now . They come pre patched with widescreen mode included for modern systems. Just download, add to steam the .exe and use proton experimental and run it. Done.

Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher bay. Have a abandon download which was a pain to get started because of the starting resolution totally puts the options menu outside the screen, but got it working. Would like a proper GOG or Steam copy.

A lot of games are lost to rights & license issues, especially if there is music involved. Yesterday I learned how the rights for Choplifter are so unclear, they had to pull Choplifter HD from Steam & consoles. Same problem as NOLF.

The community has built an "all in one launcher" for these games. You download a 300MB launcher, then can use that to download / install both games and their expansions. Of questionable legality, of course, but functional.
