I mostly play on PC, and yeah, that's the stuff you need to cope with.
You launch a game (new Prince of perisa) on Epic, then it lauches Ubisoft laucher, then the update fails etc. Pretty common stuff.

Not as far as I'm aware. i have not booted up BLOPS yet, but ive been playing COD on steam every day for a few years and ive never had to. I dont see why it would have changed.
The Steam mob would be melting down right now if they forced another launcher on them i think.

It installed just fine for me through gamepass and while the thing was a bit convoluted I was able to run the campaign just fine. I do hate the launch launcher which then closes itself to launch the game bullshit. But on the plus side, this game is very easy to quit to desktop. Every game should copy that and ignore the launcher nonsense.
You are basically citing a bullshit example that is not the norm for this specific game let alone all PC games as a reason for sticking to consoles. This is not valid logic.

I am sorry but the same shit happens on console. I bought MW on PSN 3 years ago, never got the campaign to work because it always asked for more downloads (even though I had already downloaded everything). Warzone was the only thing that worked.
I wasn’t the only one with that issue and there’re still people having issues when you search for it. The COD hub launcher is just shit and they need to get rid of it.

It's a single program, you access the games via COD HQ so there's no way to introduce a new launcher for a new game, because the games essentially act as dlc for the COD HQ program, so since COD HQ doesn't require bnet, none of the content available in it can require bnet.

It never required 300GB. That's the file size if you install ALL of the DLC games: MW2, MW3, BLOPS6, and Warzone.

10. Start Black Ops 6 campaign, upon which the CoD application shuts down and separate BLOPS6 application starts
11. Get a forced update, after which the BLOPS6 application restarts
12. Start BLOPS6 again
13. Wait for shader compilation again, this time for BLOPS6
14. Play the game
I am not exaggerating, this was my process to get into the game and play campaign.
MS and Actard can both go fuckthemselves and I didn't even watch the dunkey video.
