I’ll be honest, my issue with identity politics is that if you’re a white, able-bodied, cis-gender, hetero-sexual, slim person from a wealthy family with citizenship the left think you have power compared to a black person regardless if you’ve spent the first 15 years of your life being molested and raped by a family member, family friend, pastor or teacher.

You have to look at the individual’s circumstances and not the collective.

I’m not like Brad Pitt in fight club or anything but the whole safe place for things that are literally unhealthy annoys me so much.

No being a 200 lb girl that’s 5’2” isn’t healthy and it shouldn’t be okay. Being unhealthy shouldn’t be celebrated. I know some people have actual health issues they have no control over that cause weight gain but most people are simply unhealthy.

This is racist sexiest and quite frankly, becoming a religion. This is discriminatory on multiple accounts and if this is what HR is up to in the US, we are in big trouble.

I’m a white cisgendered male, and while I can understand the hardships of other cultures and ethnicities, putting these kinds of things in place makes life even more difficult for me because of my race, gender, and sexuality. All of which should not be an issue at the work place. So maybe sensitivity training should take place when needed and not forced when there isn’t a problem. But all this does is make straight white people get discriminated against and does not create unity.

While other races religions sexuality and ethnicities have issues with discrimination, there has got to be a way to combat that without singling out other people and assuming they have power.
