It's good but this is not like Space Marine. This is a PVE 4 player co-op (Left 4 Dead) kind of game.

Crossplay between Steam and Xbox has been in for some time now. I would be very surprised if PS5 does not get the same treatment.

Wait, I'm reading no bot support for solo play (despite being promised to be coming no more than 2 months after launch)? That's a deal breaker for me, I cleared Vermintide all the way through Nightmare solo for example, it's my preferred way to play. Shame, was really looking forward to this release, maybe if they patch it in I'll reconsider.

Game was okayish 2 years ago when it originally released, nothing ground breaking imo. 5-6/10. It is also on gamepass for these that missed it.

I first played on PC at launch and I could never figure the perfect setting. I think the optimization was poop at launch.

Then YES, I've got it on Xbox using a controller it's not bad at all you should try.

The time has finally come (enjoyed Vermintide 2 very much) but :

Base game is 35€ instead of 40€ until the December 3rd for ps plus subscribers, there's also the premium edition which goes for 50€ discounted, so my question is, is the premium edition actually worth it ? Are the extras worth it ? There's some cosmetics AND in-game currency included but i don't know if the cosmetics are any good or even if the in-game shop ones are actually worth a damn.

Anyway, looking forward to this, hope the launch isn't a clusterfuck like in most online (not to mention, Fatshark) games.

So effectively the sets for each character are good, without them you will be using prisoner rags for a long time until you earn a few basic armor sets.

As for cosmetics they range from "why are they even selling this?" To "for fucks sake why can't we earn anything as cool as this?"

For 40k Nerds some of them are REALLY good, like perfect recreations of lore regiments, the issue is the store has this terribly slow rotation system. You have 3 sets that rotate one every 2 weeks. So each page is available for 6 weeks, they have like 40+ sets, so that means once something shows up it can take over a year before it shows up again if it ever does.

Essentially it's fucking awful, but it's a hold over from the God awful launch this game started with, as its the main point of complaint now the crafting system has been fixed. They are now under pressure to change it.



Playstation launch also lines up with the launch of some new weapons a new endgame mode and a new map. The Story is also moving forward with tensions rising between the more militaristic traitor "Scab"Mobian 6th and the more cultist Advent "Dregs"

Hoping it's good, as the new game mode Havoc gives us endgame players a new reward track to progress.

Played two missions, it's fun. I didn't see any video, frame rate settings also why is the game gore cut? I don't have any gore in my game, thanks Germany (although I can't find any news regarding this).

So apparently the gamepass version (only Germany or in general?) is cut. So did we get the cut version? Oh man it's the year 2024, I don't want others to cut/censor stuff for me man.

I was cutting, dismembering, burning, making zombies go boom (which at least looked like humans) in Dead Island 2 just a month ago, but Darktide is censored. Fuck all these games, devs, publishers.
