Wake me up if Cyberpunk gets a pro patch…

I wonder if cyberpunk gets a patch.

Give me a Cyberpunk Pro patch and I can die happy.

I can't imagine they would pass on a Cyberpunk Pro patch.

Probably mentioned already in this thread, but is Cyberpunk 2077 getting a Pro patch?

With the Cyberpunk announcement for Mac next year I'm hoping we can get a Pro patch

Currently been putting off the cyberpunk expansion in the hope of it get a ps5 pro version

They are working full bore on their other projects and said they were done with 2077 months ago. At some point you have to cut the cord and make a decision that the game is what it is.

You can still buy and play one of the best games on this gen on the PS5 Pro.

Fine with me. I was waiting a long time to buy it anyways. The price has been stupid high ever since the DLC came out. I already played it once on PC and I have no issue waiting.

I'm right with you. Jesus these guys are stupid!
Same thing for Striking Distance and Callisto Protocol on PC...except one requires only to add an upscaler while the other requires a new patch and new performance profile.

One is also a HUGE game that could get alot more longevity with a PS5 Pro patch. Granted DLSS should be added to CP.

Agreed, but devs can't be bothered. I wish they did make a patch for the Pro as it could have nice new features, but those guys have worked on that game for 3 years post-launch, so they're probably sick of it. Not ruling out a future patch for something like a PS6 to bring it up to par with PC though.

they even brought out a major patch post PL that added a subway system.

Like the idea that any gamer would be mad at them not supporting this game enough is crazy to me.

Why should a company be expected to forever update a game just because some platform keeps releasing new versions? You want a better experience? Get a PC. Consoles are not where you go to keep getting visual updates.
Because they did it with The Witcher 3? Supporting new hardware is a great way to keep your game (=sales) alive. Right now, people are looking for games to showcase their new hardware and CD Project used to be known for supporting their games for years.

Game already looks great. Shame that they're not upgrading it further but in fairness the studio has been pretty clear about having moved on no?

While disappointing, the PS5 version is still pretty decent and runs even more stable on the pro. I was waiting for news before starting Phantom Liberty so it seems I can safely play now.

Definitely disappointing as it is probably in the top 5 of games that would really be a showcase on PS5 Pro.

Disappointing, but not surprising.

  • They do not appear to have a good relationship with Sony, especially after getting delisted from PS Store and their stock crashing as a result
  • It takes them forever to make updates. The PC only recently got FSR3 support
  • They're pretty closely aligned with Nvidia and Microsoft
  • They're pretty mismanaged; allocating resources towards a macOS release rather than PS5 Pro is brain dead
  • They're pretty stretched thin with The Witcher remake and Witcher 4

Maybe something they revisit down the line, but I wouldn't hold my breath at this point.

Well, it would have benefited a lot from RT reflections as the current SSR implementation is easily the worst aspect of the game's presentation. Still, it looks from fine to great for the most part and I've also finished it on PC with both RT and PT.
