Should be on the cloud, right?

I already clicked continue, and apparently if you start a campaign again it overwrites your previous save, even if you can't see it.
I wasn't that far in the game yet, so it wasn't a big deal, but if it happens again, apparently you can change it's folders, uncheck the read-only properties and then have it verify and repair the files and it should show up again. We'll see.
But it's a pretty widespread problem apparently. Might just be the PC gamepass version of the game.

3 new day 1 games is nice, but still a weird line-up. 3 games would be a new low for 2 weeks. The rest are on Standard and already on GP, or PC only.

Metal Slug Tactics is huge for me, so that's great. Pretty much 1 game for me though and that's it. Not great. But yeah, guess I have a new game to play tomorrow. They sure waited to the last minute to announce it. Sometimes that's a cool surprise.

If all you have is standard though, pretty much all of that is great. Harold Halibut, Go Mecha Ball and Rewinder were all great. Beat all 3.

Are they trying to kill the service off? Goat Simulator is a headliner?

Nearly two hundred dollars a year to rent games they choose for you. This is what they chose. Best deal in gaming?

Who are they trying to kid?*

Still MS Flight Sim 24 is pretty cool if you’re into that kind of thing.

*pun intended.

COD, Flight simulator, Stalker 2,Metal slug, Indiana Jones, MLB the show. All in the space of 8 weeks?

I'm cold on gamepass these days but the sub easily pays for itself with just those titles.

Just that pays for almost the whole year.

Goat simulator Remastered? Thats sure to keep all those new subscribers happy.

They should be pulling out all the stops. Outside of Flight Sim, which I don't think has broad appeal, what a shit month.

New flight sim will most likely have way broader appeal, they went way past the simulation genre and added like gazillion gameplay loops, career progression, enhanced virtual tourism experience and more.

Essentially the game turned into "do basically what you want on Earth's digital twin"

Yeah I know. Its a cool "game" I still don't see it breaking out.

First half, I made the same error.

Stalker 2 coming also.
Flight Simulator is also releasing in the 2nd half of the month, a day before Stalker 2. FS is mentioned, but Stalker 2 isn't.

Not saying it is for sure delayed, but there may be a teeny tiny possibility that Stalker 2 is getting delayed. I hope not, though.

Might be they delay the Xbox version if its coming in extra hot, like Darktide.

Hope not though these dev's obviously deserve a break. Crossing everything that it turns out great.

I take it this is largely for GP standard rather than the pricier sub seeing as Go Mecha Ball, Turnip Boy and The Rewinder are already on GP (presumably they still are...).

Was gonna say it looks like a bad month, but forgot about Stalker 2. If it's not delayed and getting dropped then that would make it for me

Don’t forget Ultimate includes online play, which used to run you $10 a month.

But MLB the Show? Wasn’t that added back in April or something

This is actually a decent month.

If the PS5 Pro wasn't launching right now, I'd sub to Game Pass for a month.

I want to play Stalker and Flight Sim 2024.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?

Probably to avoid having 2 big names in the same rollout. Better for the next PR release if they have STALKER 2 as the headliner.

Black Ops 6 last month
Flight Sim 2004, Stalker 2 this month
Indy next month

That’s some top quality content right there. If MS can keep that kind of cadence going forward, I’ll be a happy guy!

Don't think they've announced anything for Jan yet, but Avowed in Feb.

Pretty good string of months for first party and/or day 1 content this stretch.

Sniper Elite in January. They're not going to announce Stalker 2 in this drop. It's 11/20. They do 2 drops a month. Everyone knows this, including Heisenberg007 Heisenberg007

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 comes to gamepass on 11/20 as well.

Depending on the reception to flight simulator 24, might resubscribe gamepass. Seems like the cheapest way to experience it given how discounted gp pc is in my country.

Genuine question: Flight Simulator (Nov. 19) is also in the 2nd half. Why is it mentioned on this list?
The listings will be a little wonky for the next 2 months. Lots of 1st party, bigger content so the rest of the drops are going to be lighter. They probably wanted to count it as part of drop 1 to make it more appealing since you don't need to list 2 big full price games on the 2nd drop, so it probably just barely made the cutoff. And we know December is likely to get just 1 drop, since they do that every year, so letting you know in advance that it will likely happen again. After Stalker 2 and whatever else, we'll get 1 drop in Dec with Indiana Jones and whatever else.

But yeah, usually it's just 1 drop every 2 weeks. The onslaught of larger games is just requiring a tiny bit of tweaking on how they list it.
